VivaanReddy yeah side mounted feels better than under display
Nothing Mini - Concept
- (Edited)
I’d love to see a Nothing Mini also, but with an even bigger size push to match the Iphone 13 Mini (5.4″).
Battery-life would probably not be optimal for people who are one their phones all day with the current 2024-battery tech, but with solid-state batteries just around the corner it could actually be possible to build a device during this decade that is this small and support an active day of usage.
Anyone looking for a smaller phone with today’s standard there are already options like the Zenphone or Samsung S-series (non plus or ultra variant).
Use this opportunity to push the size and target all those iPhone Mini and Sony Xperia Compact users who have no real option today.
my hands get tired so easily when holding a big phone, this pretty good but to come with that price, it will have some compromises

I really want a compact flagship with:
- Top of the range chipset, cameras and display (flat) because I typically keep the same phone for 4+ years.
- Fast wired charging, ideally 50W+.
- No wireless charging, unless it doesn’t increase the RRP by more than a fiver and doesn’t mean other sacrifices are being made, like a thicker phone overall.
- Decent speakers.
- Headphone jack would be great.
- Interchangeable case (leather formfitting flip-case FTW).
- A version of the ZenTouch power button.
For me, anything smaller than 5.9″ would probably be too small, and I wouldn’t want the phone to be chunky either.
Look at the Zenfone 9 and Galaxy S23 for inspiration.
What my opinion is No more mini phones will see in future.
Sture hey sture I loved your suggestion . My thought was to build iPhone se 4 like model which is going to come next year according to sources thus I was giving the suggestion to build a smaller but powerful phone with that specs under budget
A mini phone doesn’t sell well. That’s why most companies have booted that idea!
- iphone mini, stopped after a couple of generations and a plus model was introduced and got more sales than the mini.
- Samsung S10e was a mini phone, sales were low compared to the regular series.
- Asus last 2 generations, was appreciated but sales were low and it was stopped.
Yes, a certain category of people love it and it’s useful for them. But the category and it’s numbers are too low for profit hence they stop producing that.
Just saying, not arguing. The concept is good!
GaneshGouda Great concept, it will be nice to see a small size phone like in google pixel A series.
Something like iPhone SE or mini
HariSankarD yeah Hari totally agreeing with it
That would be great! I don’t think that smaller than 6.1″ would make sense. But this is perfect size or at least a 6.3″. I don’t think market is going only to large phones. Apple is releasing SE again. For me size is the only reason i haven’t buy a nothing phone yet
If this phone come out it would be the Best phone ever soooo cool and cute
Nothing mini has cool idea
And In india we are looking for mini serious at good configurations and different color patterns like phone 2 a variants.
As a nothing phone one user I am looking for phone 1 mini device to handle the mobile in simple and handling aesthetics.
Thanks,

I am just waiting for Nothing to release mini variant of Nothing phone with 5.4inch size screen. I haven’t upgraded from iphone 12 mini since there are no android phones available with iphone mini size but in an ideal size would be 4.7 to 5 inch phone which is perfect for one handed operation and good enough size for every other task.
manastas yup me too
