Merged 1 post from Diverse Nothing OS Features on each devices.

Pranshu I don’t think this post should have been merged because the topics here are completely different. @Derren 😀

Oxytocin✨ This is not good, like this is going to be very difficult to manage for Nothing team as well, and there is HIGH chance that some features could be forgotten (like camera widget on nothing phone(2))

a month later

I mean… isn’t this Nothing’s flagship phone?

Just curious

Merged 1 post from Why is Phone (2) not prioritized for updates and new features?.

Pranshu Yes Also Square Icons Everywhere , Stock Fonts Instead Of Dotted One , Seconds In Time Display In Status Bar , Using Gylph As Like As Old Fashioned Single Dotted Notification LED , Data And Wifi Seperate Icons In Quick Setting , No Proper Internet Speed Meter It’s Showing Very Very Slow It Should Fixed , Some Apps Not Opening As Developer Options Opened It Should Corrected Etc What Do You Say

I regret buying phone2,I regret buying phone2, I won’t have the next Nothing item

The Phone 2 is like 2 updates behind the Phone 2A. The Phone 2 was supposed to be the flagship phone, yet it is treated like the low end phone with all the updates and priorities going to the 2A, why is that?

irfun4ever Not the number of times, but it should be at least the same as other mobile phone versions, not flagship phones and old versions

What about nothing 2 , it’s an flagship model or not, evenly nothing 2a and nothing 1 getting faster software updates than nothing 2. Not up to the mark.

In community, people are upset about late updates on their flagship phone 2. I don’t really know the actual reason but if I have to take some guesses i can say.

    1. I think 2a customer base is bigger than phone 2 and they are prioritising the larger group.
    2. Maybe they don’t have enough confidence on new updates so they push it to flagship phones after fixing bugs from feedback of 2a customer.
    3. Maybe they are having some issue with managing updates.

But overall I am ok if features are late 2-3 months. Just make sure security patches are on time.

Only person working in nothing can answer this accurately.

But I am curious what community think the real reason could be.

aekit Yes, phone2 is the best flagship phone in the world. Because I don’t have confidence in the update, so try it on phone2a first. Do you believe it yourself?

User_sAXQvzkCC6 how many brands launched updates this often? for example Nothing doesnt have any phone that still has android 13. Android 15 is on the corner but there are brands still didnt provide android 14 to their phones like xiaomi.

irfun4ever don’t demote yourself too make it look good for nothing, let’s see iPhone have better update cycle fine , Samsung gives update every month’s even mid range phones , OnePlus does better in differentiating flagship phones and mid range phone pretty good by giving better updates to R and flagship series

irfun4ever It has enough stuff that needs fixing, and it took so long to wait for the last update, so what did it bring? phone2 went from leading to falling behind, tell me why?

User_sAXQvzkCC6 yeah my guesses are bit wierd but i was just wondering if someone would mention other possible reason. Maybe they lack developers for phone 2 🤷‍♂️.
