Phone (1) - Wireless Charging Issue

I am absolutely satisfied with this phone but I do have a small complaint with it: some days ago I picked up a wireless pad(15W) and I tried it. It does work indeed but whenever I place the phone on it, perfectly center without a cover it doesnt start charging (the animation more specifically and the sound dont play) until I turn the display on. If I place it with the display turned on it will work just fine. Is it just me or anyone else have this issue? I am on nothing OS 2.5.3A build number Spacewar-U2.5-240317-245-EEA

I aslo use to charge my Phone (1) whit wireless charger. I have the similar problem when i bought a wireless charger. Just leave your phone for 10minuts on charging pad and it will optimased your phone to that charger. At my frist time my phone same wont charge but i left it for about 10 minutes and it works perfectly for now 4 month.

Stefan Sadly I left it all night and it didnt fix the issue at hand. Maybe my charger is faulty? Or my phone?

Also how much time it takes to charge?

I don’t think your phone is problem, maybe you wireless charger is not good. I bought some for 10$ QI charger and works great for me. Maybe you should replace for another chager🤔

Hello, i don’t have any problem charging via wireless charging. I don’t experience any heat issues. Only i can say is after about 20min on charging it get little bit of warm but nothing much. I use 10w charger to avoid any extra heat or degredacion of battery because every wireless charger above 15W heat battery and degrade battery faster. So i left it overnight and given i charge 60-100% it charge it for about 1h.

I don’t have any link to it. I buy it from some store for around 10€. I mean its cheap QI charger nothing special but i have Xioami 10W 2A charger whit that wireless charger connect in to it. Works really good for almost 4-5 months. For me its not important what price or quality wireless charging is ( yes there is better charging of course) but its just coil whits transfer to your phone. So for me its not important how much it cost, just to work fine. At least get good charger and some decent wireless charger.
