I regret buying this phone. I feel like am using some cheap phone that is not at all stable and nothing is good on this phone, after the 2.5.5 update. The charging speed has become very slow and the camera which was average earlier now it has become worse. It is very inconsistent, you need to take 10 shots to get one picture that also with incorrect colors. I am selling this phone and I would stop people to buy this brand, wait for 2-3 years more if you really wanna spend money on this phone, they need to be serious about the market and the customer. make a stable phone, it is not about 24000, it is about what you are getting at that price. I would never expect iPhone performance at this but if I am spending 24000 that means the product should justify it’s price. It is worthless.

Please fix charging speed. That is important otherwise this will become a useless burden for me. I don’t care about the camera.

    ShaikRehan If there’s a feature you would like in NothingOS, that’s fine. But please don’t presume to speak for everyone or even the majority of users.

    I can only speak for myself, but I hate the app duplication Samsung causes by having their own versions of Google apps. So I hope Nothing stays away from that. Especially while they are still a small company. Let them focus on building NothingOS first.

        @MithuMandal No I would not say there are many issues in Nothing 2A .To be honest the software is quite stable. I did not face any bugs from day 1 since this phone launched. Dont know why you are overreacting.

        But camera and 4K HDR are basic things in smartphones. If the issue was due to bad hardware ,our expectations would not be high. But the issue is with optimization. If something is being fixed dont break the other stuffs. @Firmware (bot) Please take time and fix the things. We dont need 100 updates in 2 months. We need 1 update which will fix most of our issues.

        Following things need to be fixed:

        1.4K HDR playback in YouTube was just perfect. Phones like Motorola Edge 50 pro and Oneplus Nord CE 4 have lags and stuttering during playback. But Nothing ruined it post this update and again needs to be fixed.

        2. Lack of clarity in UltraWide .Being a 50 MP lens I think it can provide much more else replace it with a 13MP next time. Should not be a on paper specs.

        3. Fix Night mode camera. Picture is coming totally washed out. Surprisingly with Night mode off pictures are better.

        4. Please dont over expose image with human object . We dont want to look like ghosts in pictures and dont want instagram ready photos. People are smart enough to do that via editing. Just keep the tone natural.

        These are the things I noticed till now.

        Schippie Exactly. Having their own version of apps that are already present and good enough would take up unnecessary resources. They’d have to develop them, make them compatible and maintaining them throughout which takes up time. Time they need to get the OS perfect. And this has been advertised this way too, so I don’t understand why people are complaining about this while this has been well known even before they launched the Phone 1.

          After new update in my nothing 2a, battery drain very fast, today I changed my mobile 80% and used just 30minutes,and never touched 10hours also aeroplane mode is enabled, when I looked my mobile it’s dropped 59% of battery percentage 😭

            RohithTony That could be normal immediately after an update, lot of things going on in the background. Charge it overnight once to let the background optimisations take place and observe it after that.

              Update seems to deteriorate the experience. I still believe phone was very good on the first day but updates are ruining the experience. Noticed following issues:-
              1. Youtube playback on 4k is lagging now.
              2. Camera still needs to be optimized.
              3. Felt battery draining issue but i think it will take 2-3 days to get optimized.
              4. Charging speed also got a hit, Was able to charge phone in less then a hour but it’s taking more time now.

                Update made the performance slower than before…

                • YouTube 4k videos are now lagging .
                • Most of the times background app are restarting just after few seconds only.
                • Ear piece speaker has got some distortion while playing some music at high volume..which was not there before.

                Rover My lord, such whining trolls here. Give them a break, rather than providing constructive feedback for a fix why such entitlement.

                Well, although I do not support the tone of some comments, if you wouldn´t get what you payed for, I bet you´d weening as well, innit? t

                    Have You tried to do a soft reset or a factory reset after the update? Sometimes it may help with Your device issues.

                    Did anyone feel worthy for this update..

                    For my phone.. i didn’t feel any changes

                    A valid point. Some people seem to expect more than they payed for. On the other hand, I fully understand the displeasure from many, not even receiving a consistent package.

                      I want to say that why there are no Nothing own dialer, contacts, gallery ,messages etc… ???

                      By the way I am Samsung user and inspired by their own apps and features

                          Please give us an option to reduce the always on display’s duration it’s not an ltpo display and the battery drain is already a big problem and also an option to remove nav bar🙏🙏
