    I just updated to Nothing OS 2.5.5 update on 8pm yesterday, After this update, I casual watched Motorola edge 50pro and OnePlus Nord CE 4 reviews on YouTube. Then I noticed on that review, Both phone have lagging too much while playing 4KHDR 60fps video in YouTube, and I feels like happy this issue in not exist in my Nothing phone 2a before the 2.5.5 update.

    By casually I saw the spiderman movie scenes with 4KHDR 60fps video in my YouTube feeds, then I clicked and selected that resolution, then I shocked that my phone is lagging to much while playing 4KHDR 60fps video in multiple videos in YouTube. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling YouTube, restarting phone and switched to high refresh rate, but all of these there is nothing resolved.

    Kindly fix this issue as soon as possible.

    thalapathy The overnight charging only has to be done once though, after an update. You don’t have too charge it to 100% all the time if you don’t want too. You can also leave it, without using it, on the charger for 2 to 3 hours longer after it charged to 100% if you don’t feel comfortable doing an overnight charge. But I prefer overnight, to be sure that all those background processes are done.

      MithuMandal broh when was 4k 60 fps came in nothing phone 2a in my varient has limited to 4k 30 fps only.Infact dimensity 7200 not supported 4k 60 fps.

            @Firmware (bot) what have you done? This update 2.5.5 has broken the entire phone. For the first time I faced a bug when opening whatsapp. Now for the camera, it is just terrible. In the process of optimizing the image, you destroyed the app. I tried switching from video to image in front camera and there was this weird red and normal tone flickering transition and then it settled for red finally. The camera app itself is lagging now .

            I think Nothing just gave into the customer`s demand for very frequent update and just forced its developers for half baked buggy ones. There is a reason why all other smartphone companies don’t just give into the customers request and start handing out update fix every now and then. The phone before update 2.5.5. was good if not perfect. You could have just improved your flagship phone NP2 and give their paranoid users what they wanted for the past 3 months. But instead you tried to improve what was already good without testing properly and see what have you done. The phone UI feels like its smoothness has been forced with lags here and there and now bugs have started to turn up its head which were not present before.
