yes this is much needed, it feels weird having to use power button to turn screen off when u can just double tap.

Lock screen times out fairly quickly for me. Is that a feature worth looking into? I doubt it

As somebody who was genuinely looking to see if Nothing OS had this feature literally like two days ago, it would be lovely if they added it to Nothing OS 3.0. I wouldn’t mind whether it would be at launch or in a later version of the software, but it would just be a really helpful thing to have available to the OS. Sounds like a very small change, and on the surface it is…but it would just be useful on the odd occasion not to have to reach for the phones power button.

I use an app to lock screen, not using the hardware button. The other companies have this lock screen app or widget, or double tap as a feature. I don’t mind it, since they wanted to keep the OS as clean as possible and is very close to Pixel type OS.
Yes, I’d like to just check notifications from lock screen and then switch off the screen without even unlocking the phone. The whole point of nothing phone being less intrusive is meaningless if they cant do this.
Routes it to the right folks at Nothing who could consider it as part of future updates.hrry It doesn’t help with anything only auto generated answers which is so lame!

it’s nice that Nothing OS supports Double Tap to Sleep on my Phon 3a. What I don’t understand is why this is only possible on the homescreen and not also on the lockscreen, as with most other manufacturers.
It would be great if this could be introduced with an update.

I would also like to see a Setting to use Double Tab to Wake instead of single Tab
But the sleep mechanic on the lockscreen has priority, it also reduces Power Button wear
