No matter how good the company is, the community must maintain pressure otherwise its just another OnePlus in the making( in aspects of software). Letβs see what the update brings. Fingers crossed

Really wanted this phone but after all the comments nearly bought a xiaomi 13t. Is this update a good reason to go with the phone 2?.

Nothing cooked a lot with this update 
So many improvements, features and fixes.
Query- While the camera app can take UltraXDR images now, but does the Phone (2) can show UltraXDR like Phone (2a) can? 
I assume Phone (2) shows in normal HDR10+ ?

@Jean I thought you know how to read what I have mentioned clearly No improvements for camera not about feature addition which does not justify about improvements. Better revisit your basics
Initial review of the update
1.The animations have gotten so much better.
2.The hdr toggle switch is finally here which helps a lot. Yet to test out night shots.
3.The new recorder widget and battery widget are really good.
4.I donβt know why ram booster is added. To me it feels like a gimmick
5.There was a problem with the music player widget in the previous update which did not show the album of the song playing. In this update it seems to have been resolved.
All of a sudden, fudders are nowhere to be found! Lol. I think everyone appreciates this update bringing cool new features, along with bug fixes for phone 2 users spamming for quite a while. I am excited to download this, waiting for feedback though. I was super confident to choose Nothing Phone series, but would like to see Gallery and a proper ecosystem app that can connect with Windows. Expecting to see this in the future. Thanks, Nothing.

PeterMash Updates on nothing are far more regular and cleaner than xiaomi. We are talking about 2 totally different things here. No community can help you on what YOU need.

AvishGumber Wow, the new TrueLens engine is really kicking the butt. well the first picture is more vibrant, and I think the majority will like it, but the second picture has more details and dynamic range, and the HDR processing has improved a lot. The sky hasnβt blown out like in the first picture, so I think the colors are truer in the second picture, even though the images look a bit dull, maybe due to the climate. The output is far better in pic 2. Well, I havenβt updated the software yet, but Iβd love to try this out.
hexagonal707x Thanks, and yah, it seems to trigger HDR.
Tho the βissueβ (by design on most phones) of device not triggering peak/HDR brightness in HDR content even with the HDR toggle on (actual bug) still there resulting in HDR not looking like as it should. So hopefully team can fix that in future.

I was hoping to hear a teaser about the Phone (3) this morning but I was so happy to get news of this update instead! New features, lots of fixes, and performance improvements - what more could we ask for? Phone (2) is super smooth and reliable for me on 2.5.3, I canβt wait to get this software now.
