This is why people should be CALM when it comes to updates. Look how massive this change log is! Nice job Nothing team!

Just updated about an hour back. Now for the first time ever my phone 2 temp hovers around 38 C even with light usage like scrolling Twitter, Instagram.

Great! This update is massive! I knew that 2.5.3 was just an intermediate update to upgrade the security patch while they were preparing a new big update.

MadOne your phone just got updated. It’s normal. After a while it will come back to normal. Just restart your phone one more time and let it settle for a while.

Irfansheikh Under Improvements and Bug Fixes - There is no improvements for Camera. Strange to see that I hope this update improves the clarity of Camera and images

No matter how good the company is, the community must maintain pressure otherwise its just another OnePlus in the making( in aspects of software). Let’s see what the update brings. Fingers crossed .

Really wanted this phone but after all the comments nearly bought a xiaomi 13t. Is this update a good reason to go with the phone 2?.

So many improvements, features and fixes.

Query- While the camera app can take UltraXDR images now, but does the Phone (2) can show UltraXDR like Phone (2a) can? I assume Phone (2) shows in normal HDR10+ ?

@Jean I thought you know how to read what I have mentioned clearly No improvements for camera not about feature addition which does not justify about improvements. Better revisit your basics

Initial review of the update

1.The animations have gotten so much better.

2.The hdr toggle switch is finally here which helps a lot. Yet to test out night shots.

3.The new recorder widget and battery widget are really good.

4.I don’t know why ram booster is added. To me it feels like a gimmick

5.There was a problem with the music player widget in the previous update which did not show the album of the song playing. In this update it seems to have been resolved.

GreyKJedi Yeah good point. What I really meant was if all these updates address the problems that so many people were whinging about it would be worth buying. It was just the amount of negative comments put me off.

All of a sudden, fudders are nowhere to be found! Lol. I think everyone appreciates this update bringing cool new features, along with bug fixes for phone 2 users spamming for quite a while. I am excited to download this, waiting for feedback though. I was super confident to choose Nothing Phone series, but would like to see Gallery and a proper ecosystem app that can connect with Windows. Expecting to see this in the future. Thanks, Nothing.

PeterMash Updates on nothing are far more regular and cleaner than xiaomi. We are talking about 2 totally different things here. No community can help you on what YOU need.
