📱 Phone (2) - Nothing OS 2.5.5 Changelog
I turned off RAM booster and now my phone does not stutter and heat is also under control.
After updating to nothing 2.5.5 on nothing phone 2 the battery drain is too much and the device now takes more than 1 hour and 10 min to get it charged from (20 to 100 percent) almost all the nothing phone 2 users are facing this issue I hope nothing looks into it.
Where is the ram booster option?
Kondedinamarca In system settings
AromalJNair blame indian summer its now on peak
AromalJNair right brother
Battery is great in this update. Indian summers are too much and for high temperatures charging will be slow. Nothing has showed its true grit after this update. Camera, speakers, all are great now. Thanks Nothing. Please don’t break it after this. And gamers please don’t complain about battery backup, my ROG laptop has 40 mins backup if I game and I never complained about it because it is implied.
Really good quality update from the Nothing Team! , After criticizing them for 2 months, they finally delivered.

Vishal Mistry Camera and battery good?
Improvements I have noticed
- Audio cracking issue fixed. Sound is much better now.
- Camera is much much much better now.
- Battery is same as before.
- Animation is smooth now.
- Touch response is good as well.
Issues I have noticed
- After clicking the photo, it takes a bit time to process and show.
- The photo app is suddenly increasing the brightness of HDR pics.
- There are still some UI lags here and there.
SrsThewrongguy Battery backup is somewhat less. 5 to 8% idle drain overnight everyday and 5G consumption is higher.
Also 5G connection seems unstable, specifically with Jio 5G.
I’m expecting Nothing Audio app/setting sooner.
After the update of 2.5.5 camera shortcut widget is missing on my phone (2)
Ram booster failed
GauthamKrishnaA You’re not alone! Now waiting for Nothing Widgets Update or NOS 2.5.5.A altogether xD
SrsThewrongguy that photo app brightness is not issue its feature from google called HDR photos it will increase brightness to show HDR photo taken by your phone in Ultra HDR if don’t like it don’t use HDR mode
VivekBhagat yes..increase in brightness is good but sudden increase doesn’t good for eye. The brightness transition should be smooth.
