Hello, so I’ve been using Nothing Phone (2) since a week and obviously, I really love this phone! However, I’m still waiting for the day when the Nothing team will create its own gallery apps. I’m creating this discussion out of concern because the current Google apps (Google File) that’s being used aren’t really intuitive, and most of the time I find them difficult to look at. And then, to make it worse, I don’t know if this happens with other users, but there are some of my videos that I took that just got deleted and disappeared! I don’t know if this happens to all users, but please, Nothing team, create your own gallery apps soon! I just can’t take it anymore

San_Smith yes definitely there are tons of gallery apps

and also there is no guarantee of privacy and security this is why we should at least have a nothing gallery app and a dialer would be much appreciated

      VengatKumar One if the main reason Nothing has left their OS with Google apps is to retain a near Virgin Android OS.

      Look at it this way, if Nothing had made all the apps most of us use or common withnother brand’s there will always people stating its loaded with bloatware etc etc. This way Nothing gives the public a choice to install apps of their own choice from else where.

      OK Nothing still could make their own apps as standalone and not falling into the category of system apps so it would be possible to uninstall each Nothing standalone app for whatever reason . This way it would be a win win for both Nothing and the consumer. Just my way of thinking outside the box so to speak.

        SiYAn there are a lot of brands which provides more than what you need, you purchased nothing knowing what are you going to buy and get. By the way privacy is a myth, take a judicious decision before installing an app. You can also install Google gallery app. Now, you again have suspicion that you don’t like the design or fear of Google’s policy. This is the problem with you all guys. You even can’t make a right and simple decision. If nothing will bring their gallery or dialler app soon you will ask make that app or bla bla bla payment app…then again someone form you will say nothing is not what it used to be and shouting here nothing is a bloated like a Samsung.

              A nothing gallary app is must needed along with dialer app. Both of them of Google are pritty bad

              San_Smith What privacy do you want? Best privacy focused approach you can adopt by not using any smartphone

                  this is so bad if so many people are Asking for a Gallery App then it is much needed for nothing to Satisfy consumers demand and moreover San Smith U can anyway Keep using Google Annoying Gallery which is not user friendly at all in my case and others as well this is why almost everyone wants a Gallery App Atleast , which ha simple yet very useful Features. We can’t even access the total features of google Gallery… I mean i didn’t pay 45K INR for using a gallery app where i can’t even utilise the whole features of certain apps , I know it is my Perception but i also see if NOTHING TEAM launch a Poll for Nothing Specific gallery almost 70%-80% of users will CERTAINLY VOTE FOR IT .

                  I might be wrong here , But i know Mostly Indian Users Do NEED a GALLERY APP which is BULIT by NOTHING TEAM .

                  Bored of stacking pics in Google photos, need nothing gallery app ASAP it’s been long time, since the phone products launched. We haven’t received our own gallery app.
