NaveenGupta_UkkYh8lWzJ no it’s not working fine after that also…really worse…Nothing team has to provide an update to resolve this issue…

Guy’s I check in developer option –System->Developer options->input(Enable “Show taps” & “Pointer location”)

After this I come to know that our touch is working fine but in any app after 2 to 3 touch it’s working…so it’s a bug…100% Nothing has to give an update….so that it will get fixed…. anyone try the above steps…you guy’s will come to know….

LeoBala it happens on the home screen so not just when in an app.

It’s a pressure issue as I’ve tried this many times & when you apply harder it works.

Which is still a massive issue

They need to damn well fix this & now as it’s rubbish they still won’t acknowledge there’s a problem.

NHN yep…then is it an hardware issue…coz I am having 2 days remaining fir return policy will go to nothing showroom and will ask for return or replacement

I’ve been testing with the Dev mode taps & touches shown on the screen & although it shows the screen sees my touches as I get little round taps shown & xy axis lines, its not responding to them.

Something is seriously wrong with these screens.

Furthermore, I’ve also noticed for sometime now that the sides of the screen has ripples, now I put this down to the factory screen protector, but now I’m starting to wonder if the screen is actually flat.

I’m going to remove it later as I have some others to fit & I will know then if my screen is indeed rippled at the sides & if it is, it’s going back as that’s just poor manufacturing, hopefully it’s just the protectors.

The way to see the ripples is to turn the screen of, hold it up flat to the light so you can see a reflection down the sides, angle it about to see if the sides are flat or not, mine doesn’t appear to be & the case if of so that’s not pushing on the protector at all & I’ve run my finger along the sides to see if the edges flatten at all & they don’t change, I’ll report back later.

NHN Yes, you are 100% correct. Poor manufacturing of the screen. I am having trouble even after applying the tempered glass. Air bubbles form and I can clearly see the ripple.

@changename @Update Name @Carl Need to update and provide the replacement as it is hardware issue

That speaks volumes tbh as the ripples are exactly where your bubbles are.

ShaikAnsar Recently, I purchased a Nothing Phone 1 (white, 256 GB) from the Flipkart Big Billion Days offer.Ordered on October 8 and received on October 14.

The phone is now facing touch input or touch response issues. The phone stops responding to the touch until I swipe multiple times again (at the same or any other place on the screen). The screen works fine for some time, or if we continuously maintain touch, but stops working once I let go of my touch.

I have to do the same multiple swipes or clicks again to make the screen responsive again.Even in apps like YouTube and Netflix, the media keeps running, but only the touch stops working. I tried factory resetting, but the problem still remained. I noticed this issue first on October 9th. The phone wasn’t even a month old has no scratches or physical damage whatsoever.

If you’re experiencing this on the np1 also, then it has to point to the roms.

Wish they’d just fixed this stupid issue tbh, it’s rubbish overall.

yahyaedits55 exactly the same for me…but in your mobile it’s really worse…I don’t know whether it’s an bug or hardware issue 😕

LeoBala Given this has popped up on the np1 also, sounds like the firmware is the issue, same code utilised from the np2 I’d hypothesise.

yahyaedits55 Yeap that’s exactly what’s going on for the np2, guess maybe they’ll take it seriously now it’s happening on both their handsets, although they should of done so months ago.

Just to check is this happening on np1 after the 2.0.4 update as if so, it points towards shared or copied code, although my np2 was doing this on 2.0.3 onwards.

NHN sad to have suffered the same fate as you, man. Let’s hope that they look into this issue asap.
