Die Qualität der Kamera ist sehr schlecht, vor allem die der Frontkamera. Nach dem Einschalten des DCIM sind die Details verschwunden, und bei der Rückkamera kommt es zu einer Überbelichtung des Lichts. Es gibt auch keine Möglichkeit, HDR in der Kamera für Fotos auszuschalten.

Hi Nothing Team,

I’d like to report a camera flickering issue I’ve noticed on my Nothing device.

I captured three images under the same indoor lighting conditions.

Two images taken with the Nothing phone show visible flickering and banding around bright light sources.

One image taken on an iPhone 16 in the same setting shows no flicker, which highlights the difference.

It seems that the Nothing camera struggles with certain indoor lighting (likely due to shutter speed or flicker-reduction settings). This can be distracting when photographing areas lit by LED or fluorescent lights.

Request:

Please investigate the camera’s anti-flicker/refresh rate detection.

Consider an update to improve low-light and indoor lighting handling, similar to the iPhone’s automatic flicker suppression.

I’ve attached the comparison photos for reference so you can see the difference clearly.

Thank you for looking into this—many of us in the community would appreciate improved flicker control in upcoming camera updates.

Whenever i am recording video on primary camera, there is a pink colored line like something it was not present earlier when i update this resent Nothing OS update it is coming, my camera is not physically damaged as well, and i thought at first that is must be a hair but its not. It is also appearing on photo mode, it is on ois i think cuz it moves like ois, Nothing please fix this bug 🙏

The camera performance on the Nothing Phone 2 is below average, especially considering its price range. There should be an Expert Video Mode similar to the Pro mode for photos, with manual controls for ISO, shutter speed, focus, and white balance. It would give users more creative control while recording videos.

Also, the image quality needs improvement particularly in low light and skin tone accuracy. The hardware is capable, but it just needs better software optimization to bring out its full potential.

I don't know it was after the update but I'm not able to use my front camera as shown in the image

When I use the front camera while using WhatsApp video call it was showing some lines for a second and it disappear and it reappear and then go off and immediately when I go to the stock camera on that also lines are showing.

Can anyone check is this only my issue or some of them are facing the same

Do something but not nothing for the last major update on the camera system for phone 2.
