I’m Luis, greetings from Kenya 🇰🇪, currently a SWe student. Though I’m studying SWe I’m more drawn towards industrial and UI design. Lately I’ve taken a lot of inspiration from Nothing products.

Tech that really inspired me to get into design was the iPhone 5s. It was the first touch screen device I ever held as a kid.

“What I had to say to you, moreover, would not take long, to wit: Practice any art, music, singing, dancing, acting, drawing, painting, sculpting, poetry, fiction, essays, reportage, no matter how well or badly, not to get money and fame, but to experience becoming, to find out what’s inside you, to make your soul grow." Kurt Vonnegut

Spirit gadget, the nothing 2a, it’s just perfect!

🙏🙏🙏 hello I live in India my name is Pavan Kumar sahu State -C.G people choice in best’ smartphone in best - designs features, ip rate -68, nothing app store, camera resolution, battery backup, networking connectivity and more than best all nothing series in mind-blowing theories

  1. Hey everyone, I’m from the Philippines!

  2. Always looked for bang-for-the-buck phones all my life. Some were wins (like the LG Optimus One and Zenfone Max with 6000mAh battery) and some were just…meh. (looking at you, S3 Mini !)

  3. Wireless game controllers! Blew my mind that I could game from my couch, no cables to tangle, and didn’t need to be line-of-sight with the console just to use it.

  4. “Garth, marriage is punishment for shoplifting in some countries.”

  5. Spirit gadget would be my Nintendo Switch, with the green-and-yellow JoyCons from the Super Mario Party bundle.

(1)Hey There, I’m Kruthik from Hyderabad, India .
(2) I’m interested in nothing because of the clean OS and also the satisfying glyph lights and the transparent aesthetic.
(3) When I was like 8 years old my dad bought his first smartphone after moving from a feature phone. The smartphone made my jaw drop because of its touchscreen.
(4) Technically it isn’t a movie but it is a show called one piece and my favorite quote from it is “People’s dreams… Never end!”
(5) too sad but I don’t have a own gadget

  1. I’m from The Netherlands.
  2. I’ve always been really into nice design and especially nice software design. I’m the type of person to nitpick about the smallest things I dislike about a UI and Nothing OS looks incredible. On top of that I really like the transparent and black industrial elements as someone that enjoys retro consoles and techwear.
  3. Something that’s currently still blowing my mind is my pair of Beyerdynamic headphones. They sound incredible and I spent a long time researching what I would like in a pair of headphones before actually buying my first proper pair and they delivered.
  4. “Doot-doot doot-doot” - bank account by Baby Keem
  5. My modded GameBoy Advance SP.

Hello nothing family,

I am Rishad Ibnu Abdul Hameed.and I’ve been working as an electrician for the past 5 years. I am using the legendary Nothing phone 1 as my primary device. I am super satisfied with the software experience and user interface.

I really appreciate the community idea. It’s really helpful. And I’m very Happy to be a part of the Nothing family .

  • ¿Que onda? I am Arykso ( that is certainly not my real name ) i am from the land of the taco, atleast the real ones, aka mexico.
  • I picked up an interest in nothing from practically day 1 when the ear(1) realeased, as then i was looking for headphones wich led me into a rabitt hole and then finding nothing with its cautivating desing.
  • I quite didn’t was cautivated with anything in particular, but what i was certainly cautivated by was train modeling, hell i even had a fisher price geotrax set from then on almost anything electrical and thus computer related amazed me from then on ( so much infact that i even like analog stuff and looking inside to somewhat figure its machinations)
  • Sadly i don’t have a inspirational quote of sorts but “the only thing i know is that i know nothing
  • I don’t find quite anything that could be my spirit device my apologies.

David Greetings from Jardin Antioquia Colombia! I was born and raised outside of Philadelphia PA but was burned out from that 24/7 rat race that they call a life up there so I retired early and sold all my belongings and up and moved south.. way south! Tech guy all my life with the first half of my career in IT I was forced to move into a less stressful job of A/V per my doctors order for my second half of my career. For the past 10 years I have been living the good life and doing whatever I feel like which is mostly hiking in the Andes mountains and learning how to speak Spanish. Electronics is of course still a big part of my life and my new friend’s down here always have something for me to do with network setups, security cameras and I still program universal remotes for my friends. Saludos y hasta pronto! 🤗

  1. My name is Tom and I’m from Illinois in the United states have my Bachelor’s in Science of Marketing . Born and raised. Been following nothing from the beginning (no pun intended) I am on the discord as (tkarbo) some of you may recognize me from the USA chat.

  2. I truly believe what they are trying to to achieve is amazing and very innovative. Glad to be apart of the community with the company still being so young. I’m hoping they are able to grow globally, love how they designed the OS to help people be on their phones less and allowing us to be human and have our non digital lives back a little.

  3. A piece of technology that made my jaw drop was when I got my first Gameboy SP, when it first came out everyone was looking at it as if it was an alien artifact. It’s goofy design was what all the cool kids had in elementary school. And let’s be real IT FOLDS, Mindblowing for it’s time 🤯It still sits on my shelf where I can see it daily. Even tho my first console was a PlayStation 1 followed by a gameboy color.

  4. “Give yourself no choice but to succeed. Let the consequences of failure become so dire and so unthinkable that you’ll have no choice but to do whatever it takes to succeed.” - Jordan Belfort

I’ve always been interested in marketing and business, so this quote has helped me though my time in college to help me succeed.

  1. This is my spirit gadget, this tiny device was another staple of my childhood and hold a huge chuck of my time growing up , so compact and the game library is 🔥🔥🔥

Sou Amaral de Portugal. I’ve always used Android and was a fan of Pixel, now I’ve switched to Nothing and I believe in the project, as I consider people to be honest in wanting to do something different and good. Always Nothing

Daniel glad to be here, been apart of the discord for a while now, and thought I’d join here. I waited too long to join

    Hi guys I’m Bhaskar Chari.. I’m 20 and I’m from India 🙂

I’ve been interested and inspired by the transparent and minimalistic design of nothing. I also like the glyph interface and thr whole avoid screen and distraction thing.

A piece of tech that made me lean towards tech was ipods….where we can listen to music from a small device.(Although I never had one)

I hope to get along with all of you guys 😊

    Peace ✌️

_DB_ hey 👋 welcome to the community, it’s great to meet you and I hope to see you around in some of the discussions.

      Hi I am Rajesh,

Software Engineer by profession who love to explore about technology, photographer by hobby and cricketer by passion.

      From Delhi (India).

Hello guys, my name is Kurt

      1. I am from sunny Cape Town, in South Africa.

      2. I am interested in Nothing because I love the design philosophy. Not just the physical but the software and os are all interesting and different compared to pretty much everything else out there.

      3. The first piece of tech that wowed me was an old Pentium 4 PC running windows ’98. That was the first PC I ever used, and I was in love. Tech was forever my passion from those days.

      4. I know this may be cliche, but I always get chills when I rewatch Captain America says ‘Avengers… Assemble’ in Endgame. That one single point was just mind blowing.

      5. My spirit tech is a Nokia 3310

Hi. I am from Slovenia. I have been a fan from the introduction of Phone 1. Drawn by the “lesser distractions” idea as I am a average Smartphone user. Now with buying Phone (2a) and CMF Buds Pro I just became a member of the community recently. And I must say I am impressed by it so far.

Movie quote is of course from the fight club 😃 “The things you own end up owning you.”

First thing in tech would have to be Yellow Walkman I owned a couple of years ago. That was awesome ( just reviewed the questions and saw i was not original. but it’s true 🙂). I could listen to music everywhere. Record music to tape straight from the radio. What a time 😃

Hopefully Nothing stays the course it’s on and doesn’t disappoint like many others have.
