Essential space for older Nothing Phones?

Werden der wesentliche Speicherplatz und die wesentlichen Schlüsselfunktionen aus dem __term_0__ Telefon (3A) zum __term_1__ Telefon (2A) und (2) kommen?

As the new key’s function can be performed by the power key or a combination of volume and power keys. So, are 2a users getting essential space or not?

I started a discussion about essential space for 2a users earlier also but they hid it.

We don’t know all the details yet but for now it’s only available for Phone (3a) series which make sense because it take advantage of the new key which is only present on these.

Bunny_21h if you want to use now download pixelshort app from playstore it does the same thing as nothing essential space

so somwere yeah and somwhere no, because we dont have the button, but whe can download the app and then do it in the app but not with buttons

I hope so, because they don’t seem to be stingy with the software features. The CMF phone has all the features of Nothing OS.

Jack_Chang it’s because they are good in software only so now for few years they will provide every feature to budget phones bhut when they enter main stream they are going to do the same as OnePlus and samsung

I’m very sure that Essential Space will be only available for (3a) and (3) phones and newer.

Why should they support the old phones when its a feature that is a chance to sell the new phone? That wouldnt make sense at all.

Nice as that would be (I have the Nothing Phone 1) I think it’s not going to be possible because none of the previous devices have the extra button to use.

MarkG13 we can just use the app alone or we can customize the power button right? Or another combination, like pressing the volume up and volume down together or whatsoever right?

Gible That’d involve software development which they might not want to invest in due to the product been early days. Also the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 features an AI engine which might power some of the AI analysis that happens on-device.

I don’t think there’s official word on whether it will be available but, I’d assume this is a (3a) Series and beyond feature.
