I just bought nothing 3a 2 Days ago ,the buttons are little much shaky/wobble/wiggle, not that much but noticable,not heard but felt loosely arranged.
What should I do? Go for the service centre to fix it or is it normal for everyone? Or is it only me.
I got few users in reddit ,they also said that the buttons are loose/shaky.
Help needed guys.
WickyPlayz Hey mate. I’m sorry to hear this, have you contacted Nothing Support https://nothing.tech/pages/contact-support or visited a service centre? I would expect some movement in the buttons, there’s a little rattle on my (3a) Pro for example. But, if you think it’s a hardware defect I’d suggest reaching out to Nothing directly.
I just received my 3a Pro yesterday, and I noticed right away that the power/lock button and the essential button are feel really loose and are rattling a lot. I can’t stop hearing and feeling it since I got the phone set up. Tempted to try and return but not sure how that will go here in Germany. Kind of disappointed with this. Who knows when the buttons will give in or even fall off? Any one got any ideas what to do or is this normal? Other than that, I love the phone.. just it is really annoying with the build here..
@hrry @Daniel Any idea on how to contact Nothing about this? I’ve tried using the formula from the contact support, but I’m constantly asked to provide an order number, in which I don’t have as i brought directly in the store here in Germany.
Does anyone of you think the power button of 3a is wobbly as compared to its volume buttons. The volume buttons and essential key feel more sturdy but the power button wobbles a little bit.

I just got my nothing phone 3a pro today. And something immediately got my attention and now I cannot avoid seeing it.
The lock button on the right side is a little “shaky”. It has a little bit of play and doesn’t feel “sturdy” as the volume buttons for example. If i shake the phone i can hear it moving a little bit.
Is that the case for everyone?
If yes, is anybody else bothered by that?

EliasORTIZ ya bro I also have 3a and observe the same thing it wobbles or wiggles whatever you say I am also concerned. It functions perfectly but still when you pay a price you expect the product to be good. I am thinking of visiting the store again to ask if they would replace or not. Tell me what you think.
Orion_7u-op I noticed most of the sound comes from the camera mechanism.
After 48h i got used to the button. But i keep thinking about it. Volume buttons are nicely in place and sturdy! But the lock one… :-s
Hi all. Still the same problem here? MIne is also the same, also the essential button is not sturdy like this volume buttons.. can’t stop hearing and feeling it since I got the phone yesterday. Tempted to try and return.. who knows when the buttons will give in.
Kiwi717 I am also thinking the same I bought it on the launch day(it’s been 17-18 days). Do you think they will replace if I take it to the store ?
No idea. I’m in Germany and I brought from Saturn (a big store for tech/appliances). Would hope so. A real shame.. I ordered a case which should arrive today. I thought this would maybe help as I would no longer hear the rattle or feel the wobble. My preference would be of course no case as it looks so nice without
I bought it from croma a big retail store in India. I am using a clear case and it still looks nice . Are you thinking of replacing it. When I put on the case I don’t feel any wobble but still I want to get my phone checked.
I’m not sure, don’t want to go to all the hassle of restoring everything, trying to exchange just for the button to be like this on all of them..
No big deal . Many phones are loose or made that way. As long as it is still water resistant I don’t care.
