Obviously some of the stuff here is completely inarguable. I don’t agree with the chipset criticisms though. The majority of phone buyers don’t even know what a chipset is and even less people (betting including a lot of people using it as a point of criticism) will never utilise the full power of it never mind one of higher spec.
That said, the differences between smart phones is so minimal these days that the chipset is barely going to make a difference. Yes, it technically isn’t as good. If you didn’t know that, would you notice though? Be honest with yourself. If not, why care about it?
That said. I also don’t like the staying away from the glyphs to the dot matrix. I’m still getting the phone. I was waiting for it to come out to upgrade anyway. But I would have been happier with the glyphs.
Between the Phone 3 the Headphones (1) I feel Nothing is straying down a path of being a tech fashion company more than a techy tech company. A unique look is cool, but ultimately, the product and it’s function is most important, always. This generation it seems they have lost sight of this.
