That’s nice that we got at least some response. After 2 months.
In my opinion all those noise cancelling modes should not affect frequency response of the headphones itself. Background should be just quieter, like it implemented on all other headphones. Otherwise what is the purpose of equalizer and setting up sound for your taste if it changes in every mode? My colleagues have Sony XM4 and it works there in this way.
Also so brutal bass cut is not a an answer. Feels like there’s literally nothing under 100hz and no way to fix that with an equalizer. I almost can’t hear a bass line al all. It makes me crazy because previously i really enjoyed these headphones.
As someone said- all the reviews of these headphones were made on launch date with old firmware. With current sound everyone would put them in trash rating.
So let’s admit it was a bug and hopefully will be fixed as soon as possible. I was close to getting another headphones that actually sound good, like Sony XM6 or Sennheiser Momentum4 but I don’t really like all those sensor controls so continue using my old $20 earbuds KZ Krila. Yes, they sound better than Headphone(1) with this horrible firmware.
I Spent recent weeks tagging people from Nothing on Twetor, trying to get at least some response. Your support not helping at all.
This is (hopefully soon was) my the most frustrating experience with tech of the last 5 years.
