I have an issue with VoLTE on Vodafone IT operator.
If I enable it, it work fine (I’m able to talk and navigate successfully) until “something bad” happens, then VoLTE icon disappears and the only way to make it working again is to reboot the phone. After reboot, it works fine again until another “something bad” happens.
The “Something bad” is usually to call a number that is in that moment out of reach or any other VoLTE error reported from the server. It seems that after any error, the phone loose the provisoning. Sometimes it happens after days since reboot, sometimes after just one or two calls.
Airplane mode, disable and enable the SIM, switch to 3G (2G since 3G in italy doesn’t exists any more), disable data connection and any other action I’ve tried won’t help.
I have 2 SIMs, both “Vodafone IT” and the “Something bad” is a per-sim event: if a call goes wrong on Sim1, the phone looses VoLTE on Sim1 only, the same for Sim2. Forcing Sim2 (without data enabled) in 3G mode, don’t fix the problem on Sim1.
I’m running latest OS version (Asteroids-V3.2-251013-1406-EEA) with unlocked bootloader.
Is there anythin I can do to fix the problem?
