With 9 individually controllable LEDs and higher brightness, it has the potential to move beyond notifications and become a practical tool for real-world use cases like progress indicators, timers and even soft fill lighting for close-range photography and video.
As a current Nothing Phone (3a) user, I’m particularly interested in how deeply this will be integrated into Nothing OS and how much control users will get over the light behavior.
If the illumination is more uniform and natural, it could significantly enhance low-light content creation.
