Luca It seems you don’t want to understand what I’m actually saying… maybe the translation isn’t helping. I literally just wrote that NOTHING phones are only “design and flashy lights with terrible software management and a terrible camera, and anyone who needs a “serious” device should look at another brand”… and you’re telling me I’m downplaying the company’s problems???
Either you’re completely missing the point, or you’re using a very bad translator.
I’ll end my contribution here because I don’t like the direction this is taking. It’s not in my style to go beyond the limits of a decent conversation.
Edit:
For all the friends following this discussion:
after owning the Nothing Phone (1), I also bought the Nothing Phone (2). Despite my initial disappointments with the NP1, I wanted to give the brand another chance, fully aware of the software and camera issues. I still use it today with satisfaction, because I don’t rely on it for work, I don’t have particular privacy or security needs, and overall it’s more than enough for what I do. I can even take some nice photos 😅…
so I’m not here to complain about problems I already knew about before buying it.
What I want to say is simple: anyone who buys a Nothing phone needs to know what they’re getting into. Just browsing this forum is enough to get a clear idea of the brand, the customer support, and the devices.
So if the device or the brand doesn’t meet your needs, don’t buy it just because “it looks cool”, only to come here the next day complaining about this or that issue.
Unfortunately, this has become the norm, and every day we end up stuck in the same pointless discussions.
