MonsheWhisky if the hardware turn out to be smth that you anticipated/expected on a (hypothetical) CMF Phone 3, then what’s the problem here?
If it’s the Design, you haven’t even seen it yet. If it’s the general design language, I personally prefer the Nothing phones’ design language over a “modular” phone with fake (just for the looks) screws which need an extra layer (and extra width, obviously) of boring plain white back cover, just to attach (non existant & non practical) accessories. CMF Phone 1 was much more practical in this case, especially with the fact that you still can pay 30$ for the back cover and make your phone look brand new.
Im general, I guess the new Nothimg/CMF relationship and politics, made them decide to just use the Nothing design and naming on what was supposed to be the CMF Phone 3. And since 3a lite ended up having the same price as the cmf phone 2, it’s probably gonna be a nice price/value budget phone anyway. As long as that’s the case, idc about the rest..
