Starting to think this is too similar to the (3a) Lite for it to be the (4b). It also has a rocker-button for the volume, supporting the theory for why there might be just three buttons.

hope this brings back the LED strips on the entire back of the phone. Defo got more questions about that design than the matrix.

The banner on this very announcement thread includes sketches of various phone designs. The video posted to Instagram flips through various designs and notes:

“Pause to see Phone(4b).”

The last design shown is above – is it the final design for the (4b)?

If it is, it looks like there is no Glyph Bar (which I’m fine with), but no Essential Key. 😬

But this is an entirely new series (b-series), so nothing is set in stone.

The drawing above shows what I expect are traditional power and volume buttons. Perhaps the + and - buttons are on a single, rocking button, or either the power button or EK are flush with the edge of the phone.
