Hello, Nothing folks, (3a) user here.
Thanks for bringing this update.
I’m experiencing a SIM card issue and seeking help with the fix.

SIM card is not recognized after the update.
Symptoms are as follows:
Settings - Network & Internet - “SIMs” menu is grayed out
Can’t make calls (says “can’t make call. check your device’s connection”)

Things tried so far:
- reboot
- hard reboot (long pressing power + volume up)
- airplane mode on, reboot, then airplane mode off
- settings - system - reset options - reset mobile network settings, then reboot
- *#06# on phone app shows IMEI
- check that settings - about phone - IMEI is shown
- check that settings - about phone - SIM 1 says “Not available” (same thing under SIM 2)
- power off, eject SIM slot, re-insert, then reboot
- power off, eject SIM card from slot, place it in the other slot (phone 3a is a dual-sim), then reboot

I’m out of ideas 😢
I know this SIM card “not inserted” problem isn’t uncommon among Nothing devices. Could anybody help me find a fix? I don’t have a spare SIM card or a spare phone to try other tests..

grepGander maybe.. it’s happening 10-15% of times and only fo instagram…. It’s like app icon flashes when icon animation reaches to the centre for milliseconds…

That’s not bothering me..just pointed it out👍🏻
