JP When setting the app opening and closing speed to 5x, we see that the Nothing Phone team hasn’t done a thorough job and there are still many minor bugs. These issues haven’t been fixed in the latest update

@grepGander Are you serious? Even without enabling the 5x app open/close animations, leaving it at default, it still occasionally crashes like that, while Nothing OS 3.1 doesn’t have this problem. Now I want to go back to Nothing OS 3.1 (it’s perfect, the best version for Nothing Phone 3a).

JuryG_Cavallo Camera is significantly better in (post)processing skin tones. Other than that - pretty much all the same (or slightly better).

Ti_nPh_cV_ Absolutely nobody is “using” their phone like that. Not an issue. There’s a reason why Apple has VERY slow iOS animations. THIS is the reason, lol.

grepGander thank you! I’ve updated my 3a, seems a bit faster and reactive, now we can adjust some clocks position on the lockscreen and dimension, honestly doesn’t matter if there’s no depth effect

JP I think it could also be due to memory issues because I’m using around 100GB, but with the older Nothing OS 3.1 version, I still used around 100GB without any problems (the app opening and closing animation in Nothing OS 4.1 when you swipe quickly and firmly, if you look closely, you’ll see it wasn’t perfectly refined).

Was expecting more Improvment in Camera Department ,HDR is still not good when background light coming. Slow shutter lag in nightmode. Even if nightmode is off ..

my phone has been stuck on a really old build for ages (Asteroids-V3.1-250302-1856-EEA

i cant seem to force it to want to update at all, clearing chaches or anything.

any more ideas for force the update through without manual sideloading preferably

Firmware bot WiFi calling is now available & working for me on O2, which is nice. Although the VoWifi icon keeps disappearing and reappearing randomly!? (tried toggling it in the settings)

Also, activating Google’s “enhanced protection” doesn’t block calls anymore.

So I’m pretty happy with this update 👍

edit forgot to say, I’m using 3a Pro 😎
