Sirius_EU Fair enough, and I appreciate you clarifying — no problem at all. 🙂
I actually agree with your analysis: realistically, the company likely won’t change its mind, and the NP1 precedent supports that. I’m not naive about the odds.
Just for context though — I’m not a hater. I bought the Phone (2) because I genuinely believed in Nothing and expected a great experience. Instead it’s been a stream of issues for me: Bluetooth call-audio breaking with my hearing aids for over two months, an audio bug still open with R&D, and a storage bug that fills ~30 GB and won’t clear without a factory reset. From what I’ve read, even the Phone (1) settled into being fairly reliable over time — which makes it more frustrating that my Phone (2) still isn’t there.
You mentioned you moved on from your Phone (2) a few days ago — and honestly, that’s a perfectly valid choice. But not everyone can or wants to replace a phone every time it disappoints. For those of us keeping it, asking for one more update isn’t childish — it’s just hoping to finally get the experience we paid for.
Companies do sometimes revisit decisions when enough users speak up, and even when they don’t, documented feedback still shapes how they treat the next generation. Staying quiet guarantees nothing changes; speaking up at least creates a record. So I’m not insisting because I expect to “win” — I’m adding my voice because it’s worth being on record, politely and once. If it doesn’t work, I’ll accept it and move on. No hard feelings. 👍
