  • ottaw Dirac opteo is nice, but LDAC has better audio quality, although it doesn’t reach the maximum. I’m still researching, but so far the highest quality I’ve achieved is 32 bit/sample 96 kHz 660 kbps, If I increase the LDAC quality to 990 kbps the quality becomes horrible as it becomes unstable. And

SamarthNP1 It’s because of the nothing phone. At least the nothing phone 2a doesn’t support LHDC. Another thing I noticed was that it doesn’t really matter where the audio is coming from. If you have a 192 kHz stream but your phone is set to 96 kHz, you’ll get 96 kHz.

    • SamarthNP1 I am not confused at all. The percentage of each app is not the total battery consumed. In this case Instagram has consumed 51% of the totally consumed 56% of the battery. This means the real percentage consumed by Instagram from the battery is around 28%

      • SamarthNP1 thanks It worked actually i disabled 120 hz as i felt 60hz would help me conserve battery so as i just turned 120 hz it started giving 90 fps in bgmi thankyou very much really appreciate it

      • Thank you for contacting Nothing Customer Support.

We’re sorry to know that you’re not receiving the Nothing OS V3.0-250218-1552 OTA update for your Nothing Phone (1), please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused by this matter. Let us help you resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Here are some steps you can follow to resolve the issue or manually install the update:
        1. Check OTA Update Availability*

        • Ensure your phone is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network and has at least 50% battery.

        • Go to Settings > System > System Updates and check for updates manually.

        2. Understand Staged Rollouts

        • Nothing uses a staged rollout model, meaning updates are released to users in phases to ensure stability. This could explain the delay in receiving the update.

        3. Manually Install the Update (Sideloading)
If you want to bypass the wait, you can sideload the update manually:

        Steps to Sideload the Update

        1. Download the Correct OTA ZIP File:

        2. Prepare Your Device:

          • Enable USB Debugging in Settings > Developer Options.

          • Install ADB tools on your computer.

        3. Enter Recovery Mode:

          • Connect your phone to your computer via USB.

          • Use ADB to reboot into recovery mode by running:
            bash
            adb reboot recovery

          • In recovery mode, select “Apply Update from ADB.”

        4. Install the Update:

          • On your computer, run:
            bash
            adb sideload <filename>.zip

          • Wait for the process to complete, then reboot your phone.

        4. Use Local System Update Wizard
Alternatively, use Nothing’s built-in offline updater:

        • Place the downloaded OTA file in a folder named ota in your internal storage.

        • Dial *#*#682#*#* to access the offline update tool and select the OTA file for installation.

        *

Hey 😅, I start charging my Phone (1) to 80% for about 4 mouths now, beacuse i read that for battery longevity is that the best solution, and its super important to me bacuse i want to keep this phone for long time.
HERE IS SOME TIPS FOR BATTERY HEALTH Previously if you read my posts, i say that its best 60-100%, but its not really best, its good but you charge to 100% whits is not good.

        • best solution is 20-80%,
(In some scenarios I never cros 21% to don’t stress the battery, i average charge to 30-80%. )

        • The charging 80-100% is the same bad thing for battery as 20-0%, beacuse electrolits can stay and stuck forever on negative or positive area of battery whits are on 0 and 100% (- and +)

        • Battery whit normal usage can life for 500 charging cycle on 80% Battery health,

        • Battery whit 80% limit and no usage below 20% can last 700-1600 charge cycle on 80% Battery health.

So the difference is big, and i highly recommend that, now on Nothing Os 3.0 battery is excellent, so it can be all day battery life whit 20-80%.

Glad i help you all 🤗

        • SamarthNP1 Quite unlikely at the moment, while plans might change, Lenticular filter in camera launched in July 2023 with Phone (2) and the widget in March 2024 with Phone (2a) release

          • I had the same question 6-8 months ago while choosing the best TWS in the 2k price range.

I bought Realme T310 and I am satisfied with my decision.

So, based on my experience, I suggest going with Realme T310.

SamarthNP1 “Don’t go for it. After 6 months or so, one of the earbuds will likely stop working, and the case often has issues too. The left earbud seems to have problems for almost every user, like fast battery drain and slow charging. Not worth the hassle.”

              • SamarthNP1 I have been using these buds since August and those are easily the best headphones I have tried if your budget is 1999 those are absolutely worth it. And id you’re buying them for 2499 id say wait it out it comes down to 1999 pretty often.

                • With the help of warrant policy my old product has been replaced with new Cmf bud product

                  • ahoora_0101 hey mate. It honestly depends on your device and,

If I used the Phone (2) or (2a) I wouldn’t install the beta at this stage as stable release is coming later month.

If I used Phone (1), (2a) Plus or CMF Phone 1 I’d consider the beta if (a) I had another device I could use in case the beta was buggy (b) I wanted to experience the latest and greatest but am willing to risk the odd bug here and there.

Personally, I’ve enjoyed 3.0 on my Phone (1). Nothing push very refined updates. There’s lots of great features coming!

                    • Almost 20 hours with the beta I just wanted to point things about my experience:

In terms of performance, the point I was worried the most, coming from a “not so good” experience form 2.6 version, this is great , more fluidity, snapiness, and smooth performance. Even though there’s some frame drops in certain scenarios like having scrolling down from social media like tiktok or Instagram and recieving email notification and scrolling the notification menu down to check It out. I don’t know if that was as clear as I wanted to explain, pardon my english.

That small scenario is a 10% of the cases of using it, the remaining 90% It is pretty good. No major bugs whatsoever gives a propper experience. All this toughts are with the idea to this being a beta version, hoping a little bit of tweaking to pollish those few “errors”.

With all that in mind, Thank you Nothing development group, and community also, I’m highly convinced that the 2 betas that were rolled out before for 2 and 2a were crucial to have this experience.

Battery still the same to me so that’s pretty nice also.

Camera, I expected a little bit of tweaking, from previous version, I’m reffering to an Android 12 or 13 version where the photo results where better, sharper. But, I’m giving the feedback necessary to make everyone know. In the camera aspect, wanted to point a really good improvement I’ve faced and It was the processing time the photo need to be completed. It was reduced by a lot and it was very sweet to have it, nice job.

To finish the message I just wanted to thank again the development team, the community and also the person who had the guts to read such a long text. Nothing is really trying so hard to give us an experience that really matches the company’s goal, minimalism, smoothness and quality.

I’m so hyped for the stable version whenever it’s comes.

                      I’ll keep posting my experience.
