Issues with responsiveness [Phone 2]
Just wait for the Android 14 update. For now, it has only been released to beta users. Don’t worry it will come in the coming days.

Glad to report that the problem is resolved for me after updating to Android 14 in the OS 2.5.1 update
DhruvParashar_VsEHHnoiHS I have downloaded beta tool for nothing. But I didn’t get update for beta version. Kindly provide proper steps to update beta version.
NayanVajifiya I think there is no longer a Beta version as the new roll out is already 2.5.1

Light touch is comfortable to touch with a fingertip, isn’t it? I’m thinking of buying tempered glass, so I don’t want to buy it in vain

omer.e yes you can touch gently with a screen protector on, there are no issues , and I’m just using a cheap screen protector it’s just 130 rupees , still it’s registering light touches , so no issues
LeelasaiabhiramIrlanki I did not get nothing os 2.5. What to do ?

ShaikAnsar Would suggest you to use the official Nothing screen protector. Several users have reported that touch is not working well cheaper options available in the market. Also try turning on the enhanced touch responsiveness option from settings. If the issue persists sending feedback with logs while replicating the issue can help the team fix it. Hope this helps
Spike There is no “Enhanced touch responsiveness” option in the settings.
NayanVajifiya i think everyone got the update , its better if you check again in setting for the update , and if you still didnt find it , contact the support
I also have this issue. Nothing you really need to rectify this issue.
Is it necessary to factory reset after installing A14 update
PranoyPaul If there is no big problem, there is no need.
I recently updated Android 14 and within a day I have faced touch response issue and then I had to restart the phone…WTF
The same thing happened to me. I updated to Android 14 and faced the touch response issue when trying to press on some links on Facebook or WhatsApp or even when I tried to press on a conversation with someone, it didn’t work. It kinda annoys me…
Same here. I was hoping the update would fix the issue but the touch response problem remains. Enabling Enhanced Touch Response makes no difference.
I have lost patience. It is time to try and sell the phone. I just hope a buyer does not also think it is a flawed device and return it.
