I noticed that after Nothing os 2.5.5 update,I see Battery draining a little high on my Nothing phone 2, before that update battery goes more than 1 day but now it goes almost 1 day,,And I am a normal user and I don’t play any games at all.So, please nothing fix this issue. And one more thing is that I am using cmf gan 65 watt charger for Nothing phone 2 and my charging is mostly from 20-100% and it takes time 1hour 15min but company claims that Phone 2 charge from 0-100% inn 55min. So if this is a issue then please nothing fix this one.

As i was facing thermal issues and battery issues firstly i thought that i should wait for the update but no updates were brought no hotifx update nothing was brought to fix this. In the post discussion’s many people said if you reset it everything will be back to normal but no not for me reseted my phone 4 days ago but no improvements in either battery life or thermals it heats a lot and still doesn’t give a good SOT now what shall i do??. Been waiting for months now for the update. Nothing Software team kindly fix this Asap many users are facing this , this isn’t good.

      Derren it’s not the issue with my device but a lot of people it could only get fixed via a stable software update which should improve efficiency and better thermals.

        Yes , its been 2 months since I bought nothing phone 2 , it lasted like 1day with full charge , but now i am supposed to charge it twice a day

        Whenever im opening a camera app or Google photos the brightness increases on my device…like it goes from 20 to 80% …does anyone facing this issue?? If yes then please tell me the resolution.

          Mine is phone 2, after 2.5.5 update, the battery draining is too much both during day and night, it drain more than before update, during day, while only using mobile data, full brightness and camera it drains rapidly, also while using camera it heats too. At night even after turning off wifi and Bluetooth, without any background apps, it’s drains 10-15%. Bluetooth got stuck while turning on. Camera got stuck while taking pictures, battery usage is not showing, I’m using dark mode and black wallpaper, there’s a gradient of light showing from the top notification bar till notch, like greyish to black that only could see if in full brightness and due to black wallpaper, but it will not show in screenshot so it has to do with the led lights, dk if it’s had to do with the update. Please fix this! Also after factory reset the draining will not stop as it says I had done it.

          hi nothing community, i own a phone (2) and i have one more month of warranty left and suddenly, my battery started draining out, it was devastating. i attached a screenshot for reference and proof. it was worse than this, i lost about 65% in 45 minutes, that is over 1% per minute. so, i instantly took to the service center where they simply updated the software and it stopped for the time being but it happened again, and when i restart the phone, the issue stops.

          i think a battery replacement would fix this once and for all, what do you suggest?

          @SiddharthRamachandran Have you checked your battery usage statistics for any anomalies?

          Regarding whether this is covered under warranty, you would need to speak to support for further info. There are other variables involved in a warranty claim.

            Hi,I’m new user of Nothing Phone (2). I have question to ask,why my NP2 battery is draining so fast when using wifi? Is there anyone had the same problem? When using phone data is ok,only when connecting to wifi,the battery drain very fast.. Is the software not fully optimised or my NP2 had a problem?

            I have bought NP2 in Jan from Android 14 update battery Drain is still not fixed and the new update has some issue with battery and Network Dual sim issue … They need to fix this qnd NP3 launch is rescheduled so i think they have to work on software better …. @
