Hello everyone, for the past few months I’ve been experiencing this issue: the charging of my Phone (2) is intermittent, as if the cable is not connecting properly. I tried buying a Nothing charger and a new cable, but it didn’t help. Before, I was using a Huawei charger, but with the Nothing cable, it kept having issues. I’ve now fixed it by changing the cable, but doing so seems to have disabled fast charging. I’m really frustrated. I’ve already checked that everything is clean inside all the ports.

What should i do?

Some probs since a couple of days.

My fast charger (Anker) and Nothing cable no longer work properly - when I test it with other devices, there is no problem, so it’s the phone. It only works with a OnePlus charger, but then the fast charging no longer works.

Could this really be a software error or rather a hardware error?

    Same here. Charger and cable from Nothing. It seems it’s the cable that not working properly with my Nothing Phone 2. It works well on other device and other cables can charge the phone even with the Nothing charger.

    Honestly, I am really disappointed. Thing like this make the company less credible compared to more renowned competing brands. I am tired of waiting in vain for an update that fixes the issue; I have been waiting since August.

    My iPhone 2 also has a problem with charging. It keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. Sometimes it won’t charge. I need to shut down and restart my phone.I’m pretty sure there’s nothing wrong with my charger

    Well I tend to use magnetic wireless for charging the nothing phone 2 (with a magsafe case on and avoid using the cable for most of the use be it in the home or in the car, and only use a cable if it needs to be connected to a pc for anything and that is it.

    So this is a known problem and I don’t have to send my phone in? An official statement would of course be great

    For all of those having charging issues. Has the charging port been thoroughly cleaned? - Over time the USB-C port can get littered with pocket lint and other debris.

    I had a similar charging issue with my first USB-C device, the Samsung S8, and it turned out to be a lot of gunk blocking the port and stopping the charging cable connecting properly.

    Might be a good step to troubleshoot, if you haven’t already.

    The cable can charge any other devices without issues, even other phones. And my Nothing Phone 2 can be charge without issues with other cables. It’s the compatibility between the nothing phone and the nothing cable.

    After updating to OS 3 the charging speed has been reduced in the phone it is taking longer time to charge than before kindly provide solution

    Honestly, issue’s still unsolved. I think it’s a hardware problem. Quite disappointed.

      I keep having the same issue, the cable falls out of the port and fast charging doesn’t seem to work anymore. Will try to unclog the port from possible dirt.
