A059 is **rumored** to be the device code for **Phone(3)**, it has just been listed on Geekbench with a SoC **compatible** with Snapdragon 7s Gen3 and 8GB of RAM. My theory is that this is either 3a or a base model 3 just as an introduction to the series for those who are more budget oriented or don’t care about specs ($<499) and then a Pro or Plus model will launch alongside it for those who want a great flagship contender which will ship with “Pro” features as Carl mentioned in Spaces live on X one time such as a triple camera setup as well as a larger battery and faster charging than the 2A Plus, on top of slimmer bezels and a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 to compete with the competition rather than the 8s Gen 3. They would be able to get great battery life as well if they utilized the full potential of both chipsets.

Anonymous717 I was just surprised they are using a weaker chipset than the Phone (2). The better the chip, the better the AI processing will be. The 8+ Gen 1 has the 7th Gen AI engine, whereas the 7s Gen 3 has the 6th Gen AI engine

Nothinguser69 still it’s in pipeline let’s not conclude right away about the cos and prons. Everything cannot be AI even if it might take 99% of efficiency but NOTHING is something which actually displayed the out of box creativity which even AI might not have thought of. A transperant back with glymph… though there might be certain boundaries for any product however we belive in the humans who are actually involved creating the Next Nothing 3.

Nothinguser69 it makes no sense so I bet it won’t be the case. Even NP2 had last gen flagship chip when it came out. Hopefully NP3 will have current gen flagship SD chip or at least last gen. This could just be Nothing testing the waters to see if there will be outrage because of speculated weak chip 😂

In benchmark site you can see a two CPUs being listed maybe Im wrong but what if new nothing phone 3 will be dual CPU🤔

If it is the Phone 3, shame it’s taken so long. Got rid of iPhone 14 Pro Max and went to phone 2 when it came out. To me, Nothing seemed to be the Android phone lots had been waiting for, but appears that it’s more interested in knocking out lots of different variants of similar lower grade phones, and stating that software already out on other brands is a new nothing thing. Anyway, good luck for the future but I’ve got a Google Pixel 9 Pro XL coming in a week - had enough of the gimmicks and didn’t forget the iMessage security gaff either. Shame.

Fr4nKB My take on this is that it might not even be Phone(3): the model code A059 is smaller than Phone(1) and Phone(2)'s model codes (A063 and A065 respectively).

I think these scores don’t make sense for their flagship phone which will be Phone (3). But instead I think this will be their another midrange phone. Might be other phone from CMF or new phone by Nothing but midrange. Because for flagship they won’t use a processor which is less capable as compared to Phone (2). That’s why I think that won’t be Phone (3) but another midrange phone
