Here is a thing about jio 5G
Download speed is start from 900Mbps (upload just 100Mbps) if you are below jio tower and as distance increases you will be switched to lower band, then speed also goes down.
The problem is upload speed with Jio. That 100Mbps upload speed drops to 70Mbps at night.
Thats the major issue with Jio, inside my home (n78 band 80% range) upload speed is just 1-3Mbps even though i am very close to the tower and download is around 579Mbps.
Whatsapp calls are pathetic quality due to lower upload speed. Many apps struggle in Jio 5G.
So I switched to 4G+(5CA). Everything just works without any issue, whatsapp calls + everything else now better.
In some areas the speed of 5G is low because due to slow speed in n28. Like in my friends home 5G, just 10Mbps(DOWN), but his 4G speed is 70Mbps(DOWN) 50Mbps(UP). Since 4G band selection is used in phone.
When streaming apps see that you have better connectivity they will try to pull high bitrate content.
Ex: 4K video for 120 minutes can be 25GB and same 4K video for 120 minutes can be 120GB(because its streaming high bit rate content especially if you are using netflix 4K plan). Its just an example.
Solution can be Jio allots better device that can do better upload speed.

Also see this product, bad upload speed only 65Mbps ( https://www.jio.com/platforms/offerings/radio-products/indoor-small-cell/ )
This one don’t mention any upload speed : https://www.jio.com/platforms/offerings/radio-products/pico-small-cell/
So consider 5.5G it will be better since it will be having better upload speed.
Can you get unlimited 5G forever?
Answer is YES, jio do support advance recharge. Means you can recharge in advance for coming years. I don’t think there is any limit to that.
Like my old jio 399 ( that i did back in 2018 as advance recharge) expired last month and that plan even received unlimited 5G when i went to some 5G area when 5G started to roll out.
If you believe jio lasts for your lifetime that you can try advance recharge and get unlimited data.
I do support for 5.5G, upload speed matters.
