I can’t say i’ve faced the issue personally, do you have any images that show the issue?
Any issues you’re facing with the beta be sure to report them via Settings > System > Feedback.

MadOne Hey bro same thing, screen burning issue with my nothing phone 2 after the stable update form Nothing OS 2.0.3 to 2.0.4 no beta 1or 2 .I’m facing the black/greyish patch like pixels only on my nothing phone 2 only on lock screen every time I unlocking my device as well as any app while I’m trying to unlocking. I didn’t know what to do
I also have a greenish tinge on the lock screen which disappears when unlocked.
I uploaded the photo.
P.s. Somehow the feedback section just won’t take my post.
We both have the same issue. Maybe it is hardware as I am on Android 14 Beta 2. Did you contact service center?
Hello Arif and Jagan,
i am also facing such issue with my nothing phone 2 and i observed it after updating to 2.4 version not sure it was there previously. I reached out to service center too but nothing happened. They are saying it’s a software issue and happening due to the theme which device creating they did reset my phone but i can still see the problem specially in lock screen when i swipe up to enter password and this issue can’t be recorded or take photographs because it’s only visible in dark environment and low brightness.
That means this is a widespread issue in the phone. Also I noticed if you disable the fingerprint scanner then also this issue disappears. Uptill now I am waiting for a visit to service centre which, in my case is at Kolkata next month. Now since your experience at the service centre reveals that it is a software issue according to them then I have a doubt whether it is a software issue. There are people in other discussions in this community who have been having this issue right from the beginning and still not resolved. What is your next plan? What if the next update still did not fix the issue?
Team Nothing! Please look into this matter and come up with a statement on this issue s that we would feel at home here in this forum.
Regards.
I’m not sure wether it’s a software issue or not because before updating it I’ve noticed that. And to check it simply just reboot your phone snd check the screen. mine looks normal for first attempt but once I unlock the phone and look again it looks greenish. And visiting to service center for this seems no use for me.
Just updated my phone to OS 2.5 and the issue is still the same. No changes whatsoever. What about you guys?
Yes it’s still there. I was hoping it will ne resolved but no fix on that.
Update. I think they fixed the issue. Restarted the device and now the issue is no longer there. Thanks team Nothing. One thing is for sure. I will never take part in Beta testing in future.
P.S. the issue is still there in lower intensity but in night light mode.
Hope they fix it in next update.
Man I’m still facing the same greyish issue In display after the stable 2.5.1…. Anybody have a solution for this
