I plan to have to this phone for the next 5 years or so. Therefore I would like to buy a spare battery to replace in the next 2-3 years. If anyone bought one, where can I get one? Would it be possible to get one in the nothing store in Soho?

As far as i am aware it is not currently possible to buy spare parts and they are not available in retail stores, including the Soho store.
Your only options would be to check third party solutions or get in touch with Nothing support to see if theres anything they can do to help.

Lithium-Ion batteries have a much shorter shelf-life than NiCd, Alkaline, or other batteries. It is a bad idea to purchase a battery now so you can replace the Nothing Phone 2 in 5 years. The Battery may have lost 40% of its ability to hold a charge by then, or something like that. This was a common problem with 16550 batteries used to power Thinkpad laptops in a 6-cell or 9-cell battery pack.
