Do I need to be part of the beta to get the update?

Rob Facing sim card storage full post updating to 2.5.1 on nothing phone 2. There is no message on the sim but still the error message is shown. I am using Airtel sim. Many others have also reported this issue.

I am facing a similar issue from INDIA. I got the update on Christmas but was waiting to hard reset my phone and get the data sorted…today when I tried to find the update…it is showing system is up to date on Android 13. as if no update ever existed.

Curious if the update was pulled? Been 14 days and I still haven’t been able to download it in the US. I know that updates are staggered, but this seems longer than usual.

After the update,

1. Battery life has improved significantly
2. Animations are smooth
3. The music widget is cool
4. Screen time widget gives a sense of responsibility
5. I really like the 3 finger scroll down for screenshot

Features need to be improved:

1. Camera app needs a major update (shutter speed is slow, pics take a long time to appear on gallery,etc.)

2. Sometimes the phone hangs when I try to switch between two locked apps ( multiple apps are open in the background)
3. The default Equalizer needs improvement. The sound quality is bad.

Rob hi from Italy, I’m Max, a Nothing Phone (2)'s user since a month before its official release (I tested and review led it in advance). I’ve been part of the first users to test NothingOS 2.5, contacted directly from Nothing. Then I installed the two betas but, I don’t know why, I’m not able to receive the stable version and I’m still locked on beta 2 and Google’s October Security Patch. Can someone tell me which kind of problem I need to solve? Thanks a lot everyone and (almost) Happy New Year

I received the 2.5 update and didn’t update my phone at the time. And later I checked for the update and it was gone

Sam same here did you find a solution or got any response from the support?

Can I go back please? I get some daily pop-up that allows me to Dismiss or Install Now. Nothing I do makes it go away, no matter which option I choose, and it’s frankly annoying.

Is ask because maybe it has to do with other problems then software because I have the latest update and the battery life is better then before, no bugs, no issues everything is smooth and works perfectly fine.

Maybe a factory reset will help
