Welcome to another edition of the Nothing Community Monthly Photography Challenge! The team enjoyed seeing your shots from last month’s theme, ‘Texture’.
Shoutout to @korotharjun @Srikar and @Mukundh28 for capturing some of our favourite photos last month. You can check out their entries here.
This month’s theme is ‘Silhouette’. Focus on shapes and outlines - a lone tree at dusk, a person against a glowing sky, or city rooftops in shadow. Use your Phone’s camera to show form through contrast. Look for strong backlighting, clean edges, and bold compositions that turn everyday subjects into striking graphic forms.
Try shooting at sunrise or sunset when the light is soft and golden , it’s perfect for creating bold silhouettes. Play with posture, angles, and distance to make your subjects feel more dynamic. And remember, sometimes what’s left in shadow can say just as much as what’s revealed.
Drop your photos under this post and be sure to share the story behind the image, plus what device and settings you used. Tag #withNothing on social media if you’ve shot with a Nothing Phone. We’ll share our top 3 favourites here on nothing.community.
Below are some examples shot by @ramdasphotography and @Ajeesh_Ajaya002 using the Nothing Phone (3).

Excited to see your creative take on silhouettes!
