Enrolled testers are encouraged to continue sharing feedback!] We’re excited to bring you the **Nothing OS 4.0 Open Beta**. This is your chance to try out the newest features from Nothing OS alongside Android 16 before the official release. **Here’s what you can expect with Nothing OS 4.0 Beta:** ‎ **📱 Phone (3)** Phone (3) introduces the AI usage dashboard in Essential Space, giving you greater transparency over large model activity. This update also includes general improvements and bug fixes, with better lock screen and AOD performance, optimised brightness behaviour, enhanced camera stability, improved Bluetooth stability and compatibility, stronger Wi-Fi connectivity and network stability, and overall system stability enhancements. ‎ **📱 Phone (2), (2a) & (2a) Plus** These devices now include the “Stretch” Camera preset, created with photographer [Jordan Hemingway](https://nothing.community/d/37673), which enhances photos with rich shadows and extended highlights for a more distinctive look directly from the Camera app. In addition, this update brings system-level app optimisation to improve startup speed, available under ***Settings > Apps > App optimisation***. ‎ **Other new features** 🟢 Pop-up View with two floating icons for faster switching ⏱️ Two new lock screen clock faces ↔️ 2×2 Quick Settings tile support 🌑 Extra Dark Mode *(**Settings > Display > Dark theme > Extra dark mode**)* ### ***‎-*** ### **✨ Essential Apps & Playground** Essential Apps are now live. Anonimowy Have received similar opinions from many people i own both nothing phone 3a and 3 and hv been testing on the 3 which has not been up to my expectations, Nothing should have at least improved the customization by introducing more clock faces and adding more options for UDFPS animations. Really hoping they will add some in the upcoming beta 🤞 @Rob ⚡️ @Carl @TechiBoy Pls make sure this message reaches the Software team and Mention that the users are disappointed with the 1st Open Beta.

Hope the team will acknowledge it and fix it in the future iterations.

I will also add that the essential apps is completely unique and is useful. Great work on that it will be amazing if you add Playground as an app to the phones

Nothing phone 3 - 4.0 Widgets cannot be added to the home screen. Glitches then closes the widget launcher. Have soft reset but not fixed the issue

After this Update on my NP2,
2 Big Issues which are Haunting me.

There’s no BSNL Network. It always goes off with an “!” mark at the Signal Icon.
Unable to connect to my Existing few Bluetooth devices & even after deleting & trying to add back my Moto Buds+ is also not happening.

Pls fix this ASAP.

KiranSalla_LjFhSFoEku if you update your device , you will receive the update . but if you are facing a bug or an issue and want to go back to the stable version the only way to do it is by formatting your device
