Charging protocol situation is messed up again with NOS 4.

PD chargers are not providing more than 10 watts.

Previously on OS 2.5, they used to provide that power, but when they introduced OS 3 it went down to 10 watts. Then, after 4 months, the team pushed an update that solved this problem, but as soon as they introduced OS 4.0, it’s messed up again.

The issue is especially with the PD protocol

(Apple chargers and PD-compatible power banks).

It’s fine with Samsung PPS though.

Don’t get me wrong.

Also, battery life has improved with OS 4.0 on the Phone 2, and I’m fine with PPS charging.

But when outdoors, power bank charging is now limited to 7 watts.

This can be a huge pain for me.

Also, please don’t mess up the battery life by fixing this charging protocol problem.

Spark hope they fix in the next update. My anker and spigen gan charger all stuck at 10w.

I am not seeing all “first party nothing app icon” in my nothing phone 2 update for NOS 4. is it few for nothing phone 3 only?
and Nothing phone 2 is not going to get it , or I am confused ?

Firmware (bot) i can not get nothing os 4.0

I am beta user but 7 days ago i can roll back to android 15

When i ensure to stable os 4.0 coming soon then i roll back but now i can not get android 16 😭😭😭

After disabling Volte VoNR icons from status bar , after sometime they are coming back again on there own.

I feel it’s a serious bug.

I updated the Phone 2 with stable Nothing Os 4.0. till now haven’t noticed any serious bug. But in my test and observation, battery draining little fast. Anyone having similar kind of observation? For any Nothing Phone after 4.0. any solution or tips to make it better. I have drained it completely once, to charge it full .

SoumyaNC new os updates takes some time to optimise it to usage… some apps and services run in background…so battery drain is noticable…wait for 1-2 days and see…

Md_WaliurRahman when the update was rolled out, it had some bugs. So due to that the update has been rolled back and right now the team is busy fixing these bugs and soon everyone will get the update.

So please don’t take tension and wait for some time for the update, the update may come to everyone within 1 week ( I am not confirming it, but some creators and AI have said it )
