I’ve just purchased the NP3 and I’m starting to get worried about this issue too. Has anyone happened to try an hard reset directly from recovery mode after updating to NOS4?

I’ve installed the new 4.1 update, but the problem persists. I tried to solve it by restoring my phone to factory settings, but it’s still the same

MattMK3 I’m sure it’s not a hardware problem. The issue can be circumvented by toggling an option in the developer settings, but the battery life suffers. They need to acknowledge this. Too many people are reporting problems, it’s not isolated.

Yep… the issue isn’t fixed fully but I think they did something .. they forced every app to run on full fps so the colour shift doesn’t drastically change while using the phone… but if you manually change to high and standard vice-versa you can still see the colour shift … now no app is running on 60 fps … every app is working on 90-120fps … I don’t know if this is a permanent fix … how this going to effect the battery life … !!!! Hope they bring a proper permanent fix soon

@Nick 🌟 Yep … snapchat ui support 90fps and camera session only goes upto 60 that why the shift is visible ..

I wish I could show a screen recording but the fps meter is not showing in the screen recording so try this for urself… turn on the fps meter from the developer option and first make brightness level low and go all around the system or anywhere in the android ui the fps won’t go below 90 and now try this again in high brightness the fps goes all the way upto 60 … this is what they done in this update to minimise the colour shift issue …. in high brightness the shift isn’t visible that much … I think that why they did that … is this really a hardware issue or a software issue ?

Today I got to know that my nothing phone 3 also shows black green tint while watching content damn I’m very disappointed now plz fix this issue or give us refund we have given our hard earned money to buy this phone plz do something 🙏
