Good morning everyone,
Today I want to talk about a problem I’ve been facing with my CMF Phone 2 Pro after recent updates. When Nothing OS 4.0 first arrived, my phone felt smooth, stable, and well optimized. The battery life was actually better than before. I could use my phone normally, and even with Wi-Fi turned off, the battery would only drop about two percent in a long time.
But after about a week, things started changing. The battery began draining faster than usual. Then I received another update — the so-called bug fix update. I expected improvement, but instead, the situation became worse.
Now, even when I’m not using the phone much, the battery drops very quickly. Before, with Wi-Fi off, it was stable. But now, even with Wi-Fi on or sometimes just on standby, the battery can drop almost twenty percent. App optimization also doesn’t seem to work properly anymore. Background apps consume more power, and the system no longer feels as efficient as it used to.
Updates are supposed to improve performance, not reduce it. As a user, it’s frustrating when a device works great at first but gets worse after updates. Battery life is one of the most important parts of a smartphone experience, and when it fails, everything else feels affected.
I hope Nothing listens to user feedback and fixes these optimization issues in the next update, so CMF Phone 2 Pro users can enjoy the smooth, efficient performance we had when Nothing OS 4.0 first arrived.
Thank you.
