It really depends on you as a user. With NOS 4.0, all gaming applications are hard capped at 60 Hz except for BGMI. That was my main reason for downgrading back to NOS 3.2, though part of it is also just my interest in learning and understanding how the OS behaves. I enjoy digging into that kind of stuff. Through the downgrade, I was able to confirm that this is a regression on Nothing’s side, with gaming performance being capped at the OS level. Until that is addressed, I prefer NOS 3.2 for full in game fluidity.
That said, I still like Nothing OS overall. Lock Glimpse is honestly not great, but the general user experience is solid and has improved with each update. I cannot fully speak to this specific CMF update yet, but on the CMF Phone 1 and Phone 3a the experience has been very good. Like any update, there are always quirks or potential bugs, but overall the changes trend toward improvement.
If you prefer or plan to stay on NOS 3.2, just be aware that downgrading will cause integrity checks to fail. Banking and other security sensitive apps will not work. Even if you do not downgrade and simply remain on that version, Google is increasingly enforcing stricter requirements, and older OS versions may eventually stop passing integrity checks anyway.
Either way, it is ultimately up to you, but updating will likely become necessary at some point depending on your use case.
