Each square is individually controlled for uniform illumination at up to 3500 nits. Glyph Bar is 40% brighter than the previous Glyph Interface. The phone 4 (a) is exactly what we hoped all along!! It has kept all the original nothing design language, and I love it!!

Even though the Glyph has changed, I don’t mind the new Glyph, it is close enough, and it keeps all the functions!

Guys , the os 4.1 , they cooked like damn they freaking dropped some actual usable features , new clock , watermarkes, new upto 5 presets in camera widget (save ur space) depth effect - finally , lock screen clock placement, gallery editing features , 2 new presets and so much more, personally i would have bought 4a instantly woth upgraded camera and everything

RajPratapAnand And for Essential Space users, they now let you use a sync to cloud option, so you can still use Essential Space on your PC or Tablet or internet-connected device. (Nothing has been quiet about this though, no website link has been published, and I believe this will be supported on older Nothing Phones with Essential Space via an app update.)

I would purchase these devices if they would of included a microSDXC card reader like the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite. I’m really sad because I love the Nothing brand. I hope that all future phones will include the microSDXC capabilities

The Indian variant of the Nothing Phone (4a) reportedly does not include NFC,

Without NFC, you cannot:

Tap-to-pay with Google Wallet/card tap payments
Use NFC tags
Use some transit cards / smart access systems

Do we have any guarantees the Glyph Bar will be developed further or will it be another Glyph Lights situation where we never get anything new?

The Glyph Lights on the 3a has 36 mappable LEDs and could have been used a lot better with stuff like patterns/animations etc
