Building Glyph Matrix Sequences for Phone (4a) - Help

I recently got the 4a, and I’m a bit disappointed with the glyph light. I thought it would be possible to design your own light sequences for contacts or apps, but this doesn’t appear to be the case, unless I’m being an idiot?

If someone knows how to do this, I would love to find out how.

Also, what is the point in having the progress tracker when using Google maps? Is there any way to turn this off?

Sadly yes, it is not fully customisable….officially
Although i think it is possible, i recommend you check this post out
I haven’t tried it myself yet as im gonna get my phone in june but yeah, do try it out and let me know if it works, by the looks of it, it looks damn cool, it’s the exact thing you are looking for

Siva_ thank you. I’m not sure it completely does what I’m after, as it’s based on sounds. I’d just want to design my own glyph pattern based on particular contacts.

tomolly oh i see, exactly my line of thought ngl, being able to control each glyph in the bar for each essential notif is perfect but sadly not there ig….lemme know if you find a solution or work around

Siva_ so I bought and downloaded an app called glyphify. With this you can set one of the LEDs to light up, breathe or pulse for a specific contact. But I’d expected being able to set like a pattern using every LED. Like I wanted to create a knight rider pattern for example, because that’d be awesome!
