    light phone 3 means not nothing phone 3 with lights, there is mobile company called light phone which makes phones.

    A non distractive mobile segment With no playstore, shopping apps, games, social media, dating Apps, no browser, no entertainment Apps. Only pure Communication/essentials with phone calls/messages, maps, music, gallery, payments, notes, alarm, hotspot, bluetooth, chat gpt as information searcher or AI assistant/companion with visual intelligence. I believe these are Pure Goldilocks of mobile phone. The current smartphone feels like going towards the sun.

    why it has to be a device?

    Because of easy availability can override any discipline, so discipline is hard to maintain as having an ice cream shop infront of us is hard to resist can override our decisions anytime and people buying and eating can easily stimulate the behaviour, many people are desperate for such non distractive device because most of them are in need as you can search in Youtube, As social media’s are intentionally made to doom scroll and addictive as hijacking the brain reward system. People will use the non distractive mobile as a secondary device when they need peace, I truly believe it will be definitely successful. No major brand is focusing on these distractive segment. First makers can be a major move.

    Non distractive companies like The minimalist phone, Punkt, mudita pure/kompakt, Boox Palma, Light phone, Wisephone, Hisense. They are not majorly incapable of making a standard non minimalistic/ distractive mobile segment. Even before, European Countries makes it a mandatory in future. Nothing can make a major move. Even parents can safely buy a smartphone and give their children with no distraction, they can study and concentrate and be present. Instead they rely on Tv’s or Laptop on what is not present in mobile phones. Monitoring will be easy and safe. For a pure communication, for a better future.

    Apple doesn’t provide whatsapp or calling feature in IPad, becuase they limit them to make the user purchase iphone. Just like Smartphone in a non distractive segment has to limit entertainment and playstore or hijacking or attention pulling Apps as they should be removed/limited to be dependent on Laptop or Tv’s.

    I believe this can also build Nothing their own OS, instead of relying on google to some extent, which helps to build Individuality, like building Own SMS App, calling App, music/podcast App, Gallery App, Maps App, Notes App just like Apple. Emphasizing the distraction should not be easily available to be present in the world. @Carl

Allow the msgs app(WhatsApp functionalities ), calls app, note app, gmail app, no browser only ChatGPT , music player app allowing for new songs through internet, google maps, one payment app like gpay or phonepe, no playstore, no YouTube, no games. + other functionality needed will be updated through software.

    4. Should allow payments and scanning QR codes, any generic with minimum functionality and safety.

    5. Place top part touchable

    6. Bottom with qwerty keypad

    7. A notification light to remind if it’s a call or msg

    8. Anything needed will be updated with software

    9. Call logs should be stored in gmail/ saved in gmail contacts

    10. A front and back camera

    11. AI noise cancellation for calls

    12. A button for volume control

    13. Bluetooth connection also 3.5mm audio jack.

    14. Steps counter

    15. No Ads

    people will definitely used when they want balance and peace for few days
