  • Exactly, the phone lights up and it shows the clock and notification icon ONLY FOR A FEW SECs, whereas on other phones u can set it to trigger AOD permanently unless you clear the notification.

    The point is, I might not look at my phone during those few seconds when notification has just arrived.

    It is different , tap to show only triggers AOD for some unspecified time.

    What I was referring to is that AOD get triggered whenever there are new notifications and does not turn off untill all notifications gets cleared and then turn on again for new notifications.

    Other android phones have this.

    It was a very crucial feature.

    • Guys can we please have Always on Display only when there are new notifications.

      I am begging for this one🙏.PLEASE

      should be simple enough to add it in a minor update. Should’ve been there in nothing OS 3.0 but can we now add it please??.
