I know this completely unrelated but I had an MI phone back in the days and it did the same thing but when I removed the lamination (protection layer of plastic) from the back along with the silicon case, The temps wildly dropped!
I also think the display is somewhat of a culprit of this problem since most of the users use less than 50% brightness and LTPO keeps clocking a 120hz refresh rate which messes up battery!
Google services too contribute to this issue!
