Yesterday, I was on a call when my phone automatically restarted. Nothing needs to be tested properly before releasing a software update.

I’ve been using the Phone (2) since 8 months, it’s a great device but being a flagship device from the company itself, some flaws in it needs to be addressed.

Taking a picture and viewing it opens up a blank picture very often. Not sure this issue is with the Nothing camera app or Google Photos, that’s why a Nothing gallery app would be a welcome.
Swiping up few apps in recent menu just does not remove them at all. This happens rarely but it does.
Using fingerprint sensor to unlock while in Battery saver often exposes any screen behind the lock screen.

I know all of these issues are not major and can be ignored but I am just feeling that the newer Phone (2a) and CMF Phone 1 are getting more priority. Anyways rest of the device just performs really well

dabasaryan1512 highly agree on the first 2 points, they do happen and this is coming from a nothing phone 2 user as well, hopefully they fix it with the upcoming android 15 / nothing os 3.0

Have resetted the phone and it’s been 2 months most of the people were saying after resetting the phone the battery life and heating issue has been resolved but no not for me. I am not getting good SOT on 2.3 and earlier the sot used to be so good but now it’s too bad. And it still heats was playing a game at low settings and room temperature was 26-27°C still it heated like 41-44°C celsius like how . Pls tell this to the software team it’s not getting improved and it’s getting irritating now pls report it.

Anonymous Buddy I feel you. Resetting is not solving the same. Myself did the same and in the process got my WhatsApp backup corrupted/deleted. Getting fed up with this company.😡🤬🤬😡😞😞

Hi, Nothing Community!

Just yesterday I bought Nothing Phone 2, today I updated to the latest version - 2.6. When I opened the camera app in the morning, I noticed a new ‘feature’: the image in the camera is frantically floating, it is impossible to focus. I don’t understand why, the camera settings are the most default (repeated attempts to reset the settings don’t change anything). Before the OS update there was no such problem.

Please help, I do not want to be disappointed in this long-awaited phone.

The problem was on the hardware level and it is already solved. The service centre replaced the motherboard and camera module, warranty case, all costs (including logistics) covered by Nothing.

Battery widjet is really cool. We can see all the battery levels in one card (phone. earphone and watch)

The worst of all is the haptic feedback.It isn’t even integrated well throughout the UI and we can’t even control it’s strength.I think 2a has far better haptics than the np2.Why isn’t this a priority?

Dipu The idea behind it is to get you to interact with your phone. It makes sense to me and I find it gratifying. It has the DNA of Nothing, which is part of branding. So getting the widget to behave exactly the same as any other calendar widget out there… that’s not unique, there’s no true essence in it.
