you’re hyping me up. I absolutely agree. just one thing. I do hope it has better water resistance. In Switzerland, it rains most of the year and for me personally, a phone would have to resist HEAVY RAIN on a daily basis. Side note, cameras are not as important for me, just their exterior design. hopefully a triple-camera system to look cool and I can cope with Ram 8gb at 128 Gig storage

Hope it will have dual sim tray that’s hybrid 2 sim cards or one sim and SD and something that’s a MUST is e-sim capability which has been missing from all Nothing phones so far.

A small phone that uses AI similar to the Essential Gem project that never seen the light of day. Be good to not have to use the phone as much. Be an affordable option and easy to mass produce.

Since Nothing back designs are so distinct and usp of the brand wouldn’t it be cool if a horizontal linear sleek backstand that is part of the design at bottom which could be pulled out for stand (a good adjustable viewing angle mechanical feel too) and an optional popout grip ring at centre of device would also be so awsome.

Both integrated with the glyps and nothing design language in mind. This would make back even more functional

rishabhrajrana That makes no sense, I mean if your focus is on specs, and not on nothing software, or nothing design philosophy/not standard design, even if your focus is on price, then why do you want to buy a nothing phone(3), I mean at least thats what I expect. If you have wishes about a phone you want to buy that phone, but with your wishlist, shouldn’t you buy a Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, Google Pixel, OPPO, Honor or something like that. Please explain your logic, because in my brain it absolutly makes no sense.Because your wish list seems like a typical samsung + model / Google Pixel. You by yourself said iPhone/ Google Pixel and not nothing phone.Pleeeaase think about your post, and if it really makes sense explain why.

Seven_5 I get what you are saying but if their focus is on nothing aesthetics, then the progress is very slow. I mean there are independent devs who are making better nothing style apps that nothing should’ve pushed in the 1st place, except for nothing widgets and few more nothing apps like recorder, nothing x app, where are other important apps like nothing gallery, dialer, calculator, file manager. Tell me what purpose does glyphs serve except for one or two. I get that its part of their design philosophy and I like what I saw on np2a as the glyphs were at least minimal and limited than np1 and np2. I like that they are going with snapdragon 8sgen3 instead of 8gen2 from last year. As far as clean software is concerned, I’ve already mentioned that I love nothing for their clean software more than even pixel with their added character to the whole OS, but there is more that can be done sooner on that instead of things like infinite glyphs they put on the back of their flagship phone.

It will be nice if the back of nothing phone have a light design similar to ROG phone 8 instead of glyph lights it will be more subtle, the dot matrix style matches the font of nothing os, and will be more customizable. I don’t know if it will be possible in phone(3) as it will be mostly completed by now it will be nice of the phone(4) have it.

Venkrish I would like to see a ultra/max phone from nothing with most recent hardware and I also would like to see a triple camera setup from nothing with wide, ultra wide and telephoto camera

Hi!

Since the back of the phone is a big part of its brand and personality, and the backing trying to be usefull with the LED lights, what if we put a small LED screen on the back, so you could quickly look at important notifications without turining your phone over and check it at, for example, a meeting or dinner with bosses or co-workers.

I Hope the new coming nothing phone 3 has the 3 camera lenses stack like iphone 15.

I’m sure everyone has there own list but here is mine and I’ll try and keep it hardware related as some features might be added or changed thru software updates:

Brighter screen
Higher IP rating
USB 3 or higher
5G mmWave support
Additional speaker on the bottom
Increase speaker volume
Move the both side buttons higher (accessories like the clamps on the phone cradle will accidentally press it)
Additional lens for telephoto
PDAF sensor and OIS for all the rear lenses, not just the main lens. Would like to see PDAF senor added to the front camera as well
Move the fingerprint sensor higher (I’m pretty sure this is hardware related and cannot be fixed by software)
A cooling system like a vapor chamber to regulate heat better

Of all the things listed, I guessing the camera upgrades, adding another speaker and putting in a cooling system would increase the price significantly. If Nothing continues the trend and use the SD 8 Gen 2 instead of Gen 3 to keep the cost down with all this added, I would think the price would increase by $100 USD give or take
