Really cool idea
Glyphify - A multipurpose Glyph app
- (Edited)
is it intended to be 185 mb?; the new update, i mean
edit: i thought the older versions were less than 100 mb, im just a bit too dumb loll; the multiple light effect presets sounds interesting, looking forward to them if you ever do make them!
Nice touch @Fr4nKB
Fr4nKB if someone is worried about the size just look at the code, it is an open source project, and contains FFmpeg library that is a massive huge lib (unless you compile it yourself with the features you need). Also the code is not obfuscated. To decrease the app size you could use R8 obfuscation and generate builds for every hardware platform (but I don’t think it’s worth it, too much work ).

New version just dropped, here are some demos (download app here)
Changelog for this version:
- Huge improvement to light effects: more in synch, speed is adapted on the song, less predictable patterns
- Notification for when an update drops (so you don’t have to check here continuosly)
- Greatly reduced apk size (thanks in part to Mirko_ddd ’s suggestion)
I think I’ve done a lot of improvements from where I started but you tell me:
GTA - SA THEME
Rammstein - Seemann
Eiffel 65 - Blue
I saved the best for last
As always, share your thoughts and download the app from my repo here

Fr4nKB can you kindly elaborate what you mean by the second point. How do i play it without the glyph composer app? I’m confused…
Edit: i guess you meant the glyph interface settings. But there is an issue to highlight, which i thought was because of the composer. Top left variable glyph light on the 2a doesn’t lighten up completely. It misses 2 parts of it. They just don’t light up.

could you share a video of this?
I’m not sure of the problem…
The problem is that with 2a the Glyph interface is really different from 1 and 2 and I don’t have a 2a that I can use for testing

New version available, Phone(2a) and Phone(2) rejoice:
- Added Phone(2)'s 33 Glyph subzones addressing: Phone(2) users can now enjoy a more detailed ringtone
- Phone(2a) glyph battery indicator (BETA): Glyphify now shows a Glyph battery indicator for Phone(2a) users. Instructions on how to use this are on GitHub
I would like to thank anyone who donated to this project: the top donors are now listed in the GitHub repo.
As always, you can download on GitHub, please share thoughts and videos of your Glyphified ringtones!
