PaulBaker_Oyst7dhutF Mine often takes a good minute or so. One thing I’ve requested in a suggestion is we get SOME form of feedback (buzz, buzz and beep) once the GPS is locked in so we know it’s ready to press GO. Constantly looking at my watch or forgetting and realising it’s been sitting there ready for ages is a pain.
CliveAlive Same issue as well ,so i tried disconnecting watch from phone app and tried GPS on watch and it connects straight away even indoors, a work around maybe but not much use for phone calls or notifications .
ronald_d_smith same issue, would not have purchased the watch if GOS wasn’t an advertised feature, please fix.
ZohaibBardai It’s true that GPS takes forever to connect and its quite a serious bug which should be fixed.
MarlonAyres Hey, what an amazing costumer service this brand has, so many people with the exact same issue for months, no GPS signal, exercise tracking registers nothing after my workout done so no statistics to look for whatsoever, latest update basically renders most exercise tracking functions inoperable and there is no feedback nor new firmware update nor nothing. Don’t know what else could I have asked for.
ing_michelebarile I am very disappointed, I have two Watch pro 2, one connects in a few seconds, the other in several minutes. I am sorry to assume this but I do not think it is just a software problem. In some models they will have installed a more obsolete gps hardware than in others. This seems to be the harsh truth otherwise I do not understand why with the same firmware one behaves differently from the other
HatchBiscuit Same issue for me. I reached out to Support and while they have been quick to respond, they are not addressing the issue directly. very strange
MelwynCoelho Service Centre Responds this is is designed for all users to wait before they lock on to the GPS. It Makes no sense when other watch manufacturers don’t have such issues. Poor Customer Service,no replacement, no resolution,no update expected
HatchBiscuit Yes, it’s terrible. I’ve had an email support thread going and they asked for the serial number and proof of purchase. Not sure what they will do…but to go out for a run, get ready to go, then stand there and wait for 5 minutes or more for gps to get a lock (if at all) is completely absurd. I’ve had an Apple Watch 3 that was over 4 years old that locked onto gps in seconds and a Coros pace 2 that locked in fairly quick. Everything about this watch is great expect for gps and that’s a dealbreaker.
MarkG13 HatchBiscuit Support from CMF is a total joke, I’ve been complaining about 3 issues since the end of July myself, none GPS related, though I have had times when it takes a while to connect. But the business about serial number and proof of purchase is purely so they can say “Oh because you bought it from a reseller you have to contact them and they will help you with the problem” This is total rubbish. There was no way to buy the Watch Pro 1 from CMF so it had to be a reseller (not sure if it’s the same for watch 2?). But the resellers “support” consists of one option. Send it back for a refund. Shocking service. But don’t give up, keep pestering the support, I’m doing that. Good luck.
HatchBiscuit MarkG13 Its pretty wild. It’s their product, not amazons. I told them they need to stand behind it, not push me off to the reseller.
JamesBurris Mine has been great with no issues at all….I’ve actually been quite impressed with the GPS accuracy compared to my Garmin 965. Honestly I’m blown away
Szymon_h_zielinski Hi there Nothing team, I have CMF watch and I’m doing outdoor activities. Mainly football and running. When I start activity tracking on the watch is tracking it fine, all statistics and distance is tracked very similar to my second watch garmin fenix 6. However after uploading to CMF Watch application GPS data is not available. The place where map should be displayed is entirely black. Is there anything possible to make it work? Somebody has similar problem and found a solution?
_2n_AmKqvPb5Qj I wrote the same problem to support, I hope that the problem is in software, not hardware. Waiting for a response or fix
