Even I am facing the same issue. The issue might be because of firmware update. Check your version. Is it 0.0.8.1??
CMF Buds Pro 2 - Battery Life Discussion
I think it’s not a hardware issue, its something with the firmware, I have also received the replaced product from the service center, and after 1 week it shows the same issue with the battery. I think nothing will resolve the issue soon.

How do you ‘disable’ the charge case? I understand setting the dial actions to the none setting is that all you do? I used a radio analyzer and the charger case is still transmitting with all that stuff turned off.
Would it be better to enable the last case control in the app, then use that control, *(double press and hold), to disable/turn off the case?
I’m not using any special Tx equipment just a cheap radio analyzer. It doesn’t seem to have an actual off off setting.
I have seen a thing that Nothing releases a crappy firmware and keep it long for such lengths that the users are on their brink of frustration and just then they release a fix and suddenly all users are happy that what a great job they have done. This is just sad .
Today I got the same problem, My right earbud is charged tk 1 % while left is at 100 and my case is charged to 95 %. Till Yesterday Night,it was working perfectly fine. I don’t know what happened today. Someone at CMF Please Fix this issue!!!!
AravindAnil yes that’s right even i went to service centre and they replaced with new one and now im facing the same issue. Guys if u get a new buds replacement then dont update the firmware.
I think oneplus earbuds are much much better than nothing. Very worst batter backup in both nothing 2a and earbuds.. Am ashamed to buy this brand. Am suffered lot while travelling.
Except os, themes and widgets there is nothing in nothing.
I have a November build of the buds, they still work but I notice that the master earpiece changes with every setup. I would like if they added solid state batteries as they are more stable and is loaded with more power.

Hello. Bought them in July last year. Now I’m getting about 3 hours battery life with ANC on. I’ll disable the case buttons and see what happens. But it feels like battery is degraded.
Update…
After turning off buttons on the case, I’ve gained 1.5 hours or more. It’s still not advertised 6 hours but hey, this makes me happier.
I used to deal with this problem and had two replacements. I found out it’s firmware updates which cause this. Upon the suggestion from someone in the forums, I got a replacement and never updated the firmware (it runs on firmware 0.0.5.5) and I never faced this issue again. Hopefully this helps. Cheers!
Wish i read this thread earlier and never updated them…. Just bought them yesterday.
In my personal opinion, these are the worst buds you can buy in this price range. My 4 year old oppo enco has a better battery backup than these.
Now I am also having same issue of One bud at 95% and other at 100%….. This makes me fear that these will also go bad as some people are mentioning.
Hey! I’ve been using these buds for almost 6 months now while having to replace it 3 times so far. It turns out the firmware updates make these buds worse, i.e. terrible battery life and not full charging. When I got these pair of buds (the replaced ones) I never updated the firmware and the battery life is far better and they full charge. Now the question is this, is it really safe for me to upgrade to the newer firmwares maybe? Have they fixed these faulty firmwares yet?
Seems like the CMF Buds 2 are just around the corner and seeing how we have got no real fixes for these firmware issues in spite of everyone talking about it just seems odd. The actual buds with the base firmware perform extraordinarily well and it just makes zero sense how they are nowhere near on the latest firmware yet, they never pushed out a fix but are now releasing a new product.
I really don’t know how to feel about this, I’ve never seen the CMF Buds have any of these issues. The only reason I bought the Buds Pro 2 was the better battery life but yeah. Thank you for reading and please let me know if the battery life issue has been fixed with the updates.
Also here’s the proof that Buds 2 are soon:
Hey, I’m telling you that I sent my headphones to have their batteries replaced (unofficially by Nothing, since there isn’t one where I live).
I made a post asking if anyone had changed the battery manually, but it was deleted. I’ll let you know on Monday if the battery life is improved.
Andr_sFelipeMontielG sounds good!
